    I worked with **** from January 24-April *****, 2024. He worked hard to give us the best advice & best quote possible. He checked on our progress of our sale often & stayed on top of things. The 4 men who came to pack & move us were very good with all they did, & were so professional & careful with our belongings. We were pleased with how careful they were while unloading & placing things in the home. I would use Safe Van Lines again!!Thank you,***********************

    We booked a date to move from ************* to ********. It took twice as long to deliver, and the representative named **** did not answer his phone for almost 3 weeks; nor did he appoint another representative to follow up with our inquiry and delivery date. He even turned his phone off after mentioning he would give us a call back within the hour to confirm the delivery date. When he would finally pick up the phone, he was unhelpful and rude. Very difficult to work with. We were charged almost $2.9k but as they were loading the truck, they changed an extra $1.2k basing it on the amount of single items rather than cubic feet which was the original estimate we were given. They denied ever giving us that initial quote. On the week of delivery, they insisted that we needed to transfer our stuff from a semi-truck to a Uhaul to be able to park, despite the building authorizing the parking of a semi for less than an hour, and many semi-trucks parking on the street. For this, we were charged X amount, in addition for us to have to download the truck ourselves to avoid apparent extra charges despite us paying for a full service. **** had mentioned that he would not deduct any of the extra charges because according to the delivery guy it had taken 3 hours to load less than a studio apartment, which in reality took 30 minutes. In addition to insisting that we use a uhaul for him to avoid losing his CDL. **** later seemingly provided a discount which was named-changed uhaul truck delivery costs, making it the same delivery amount of an extra $1.3k (originally charged during the loading of the truck). We were bamboozled. We had no option but to pay the extra charges in order to get our stuff. The delivery guy was very rude, sending text messages implying that we were not going to pay. Some of our items were broken and a box was never delivered.

    I am not pleased with Safe Van Lines and I cannot get a response from the ***************** as several items, including a beautiful mirror, were damaged during the move. I have completed the necessary paperwork and included numerous pictures of the damaged items. I followed ****** days after submitting the claim and was told a conflicting story. I am trying to get in touch with Management and I would not use Safe Van Lines for a move. I even tipped the driver when he packed my items, as the other driver didn't show up!

    I am very happy I chose safe VanLines. They successfully moved 21 pieces of furniture from ******* to ********. Pros: I was able to receive my move asap. My items stayed on one truck the entire trip. My moving consultant stayed in contact with me via the entire move. My ******* was professional and easy to work with. My home and furniture were kept in good condition. I saved a lot of money by choosing safe VanLines. Cons: There was a 19% up charge from the moving estimate due to bulk items and more cubic space than estimated. I did expect this from doing my research on smaller moving companies. My move pick up date was pushed back one week. Luckily, safe VanLines gave me 24 hours notice.

    **** and his crew did a phenomenal job. They arrived ahead of schedule, ready to work, and managed to keep our walls and belongings damage-free. They were courteous, professional and honestly, a joy to be around. Moving is never fun, but this was by far the best experience we've had with a moving company thus far. We'll definitely use Safe Van Lines again for our next move.

    Safe Van Lines, who were paid just under $20k, delivered the contents of our Florida home to Alabama mislabeled, broken, damaged and with furniture covered in mold AND have been radio silent since I reached out - during delivery - as soon as we saw our coffee table. I sent an email immediately with pictures of the mold. I've also called twice and have not received a response. I am still unboxing, and am aghast at the way Safe Van Lines treated our belongings - many of which are now garbage because that's what Safe Van Lines did to them. We stored the contents of our 2781 sq ft home with Safe Van Lines for 5 weeks between the closing of our Florida home and the closing of the home we moved to in Alabama. In 5 weeks with Safe Van Lines there was clearly water intrusion in the container holding our things. The smell of mildew was so strong on our dining room chairs and coffee table that the Birmingham crew they hired to unload the semi was alarmed and took it out of the house to the garage - along with a large wilted box of linens that were still wet to the touch. And oh the smell! Handmade dishes, gifts, artwork, textiles - some antique - also damaged. Ruined. The delivery was Friday. Today is Monday. I am still unboxing, but what I've seen so far combined with the radio silence from Safe Van Lines is enough evidence that this is not a company to be trusted with anything you care about. In the strongest possible terms - I caution everyone against hiring Safe Van Lines and urge you to share this to warn others.
