A couple of days pass and rain, again start to leak. I notify him for 2nd time. I hired a home inspector, and he explain that the roof wasn't level, or that reason the water was accumulate in the top of the entire flat roof. He told me that the roof needs it to be repair again in order to avoid mold which is dangerous to a human being. the license of the roofing company is under ******* ****** CCC13330271. Thank you for your feedback. We strive to ensure that our clients have a full understanding of the work being performed and the options available. In your case, the flat roof we installed passed all required city inspections and is performing as expected. Flat roofs, particularly those without added insulation to create additional slope, can accumulate some standing water, which is normal.

During the consultation process, we discussed the option of adding an extra layer of insulation to improve the roof's inclination, but that option was declined. Additionally, the ongoing leaks youre experiencing are coming from the shingle roof, which was not part of our contracted work and was recommended for replacement at the time of installation.

We appreciate your business and are always here to assist with any further concerns or repairs moving forward.

This people doesn't want to honor the warranty, that I pay for it . 1st inspection they fail, but if they pass inspection, how come my roof is leaking when rain. I have all the paperwork for the contract and the permit. None all of those papers refer that I refused anything. On one of the permit papers which I got them when they have the final inspection it specify an slope of 1"to 12" , and they stated that I refused. The only thing we talk about was the gutters, which I explain to them that was going to keep the same gutter. They don't want to honor my warranty that I pay for it. If you see the copy attached they specify that's NA on the insolation, it doesn't specify that I refused.

    Sincerely,

Thank you for sharing your concerns. I understand how frustrating this situation can be, and I want to clarify a few important details regarding your roof and the warranty.

First, please know that roofing warranties, including the one you have, typically become void after a significant storm event, like the one we just went through. This is because storms can cause damage that goes beyond normal wear and tear, which the warranty does not cover.

Additionally, after reviewing the information and inspecting your roof, I want to emphasize once again that the current leaks are not coming from the flat roof area but rather from the shingle portion of the roof. This is why it may seem like the flat roof is the issue when, in fact, its the shingles that need attention.

I completely understand that you have the necessary paperwork and that you did not refuse any specific work. However, based on our inspections and the nature of the damage, the leaks are not related to the areas covered by the warranty. I suggest you focus on addressing the shingles to resolve the issue and prevent further leaks.

My roof was completed on 06/25/2024, and on August 8/24 I had my wind mitigation inspection which specified the situation of water damage because it rained that week. It is obvious that these people don't want to honor my warranty. First the leak was the shingles, later it was that I refused specifications regarding the roof, now it is because of a storm. Let me explain, since August 13, that it rained hard and there was no storm and I had a leak, I notified them and they said it was the shingles, again on 08/16 it leaked again and I notified them about the leak and there was no storm. The same person that tried to charge me $250, again came on top of the roof claiming that it was the shingles. I have the contract and don't specify anything about void warranty if there is a storm, The warranty gets void if you as the owner due something to the roof..The person that need to come and inspect the roof is the one that signed the permit because I understand that ***** ******* doesn't have a certify contractor roofing license.I contact 2 roofing company, a handyman and a License home inspector, they all agree that the roof doesn't meet the appropriate building codes. Again, ******* ****** needs to come here and to inspect, and also I need to know who answers you to the complaint.

    Sincerely,
