I had a vehicle with this location for over 3 years and I found out that I had water coming inside my vehicle due to evaporator seal and it caused my car to have toxic mode. Harris Mcbride and the manager were not cooperating with me only to tell me I was behind in payment so they couldn't trade me in another car. I have done everything to maintain this vehicle but to see this issue with water in my vehicle was never informed to me was issue when I had diagnostics done. They refinance lemons to people as is and with hopes only to make their quarterly commission while customers face mechanic issues with the as is lemon cars. I will never ever come back to this dealership. This place needs to be legally investigated that they're even legal to be in the US.

My wife and I bought a 2018 ***** Traverse from Tropical Chevrolet in January 2023. For the past year we have taken the vehicle to change the starter and flywheel no less than 8 times. Total time in the shop is over 200 days ,without a resolution. Vehicle is still in the shop.In the meantime, we have to pay the loan and insurance on the car, as well as rentals and loss of business, because Tropical Chevrolet refused to give us a loaner inspite of this extraordinary situation.Tropical Chevrolets customer relations in the service department is very very poor. We have to beg them many many times for the status of the vehicle. Incidentally, the vehicle is still in the shop and I am writing this at our own peril. When I told the salesman who sold us the vehicle about our problem, he said that the only way to solve the problem is to get a new vehicle. I told him that I agree with him, but the new vehicle will not be from Tropical Chevrolet.Incidentally, I have shared these concerns with the service assistant, manager and even the owner of Tropical Chevrolet during the past months.I would like them to get the vehicle repaired expeditiously at no cost, pay for the costs of loss of use, or make me whole by giving us a great comparable vehicle if they cannot repair the vehicle.I noticed that Tropical Chevrolet is not a Member of the *********************** Of course, I am not surprised.

Tropical Chevrolet is selling brand new cars that GM can't fix. I purchased my brand new 2023 ***** Equinox April of 2023. Just February of 2024, my brakes were making constant squeaky noises when you release the brakes while driving. I called because my car is still under warranty, Tropical stated that brakes are a wear and tear problem and that it is not covered in the warranty. I took it to a brake specialist and they drove it, and ran test and they said my brakes, pads, rotors, etc.. were fine and that I have 80 to 90 percent of brake life left. I took it back to Tropical and they did their test of course and said that my issue was due to not having copper pads and that even if I replace them I will still get the same result (squeaky noise constantly) and that GM's engineering has not produce a solution for this issue and all models between 2021-2023 are affected. This is ridiculous and needs immediate attention, I should not have to spend my hard earned income on noise that sounds like I'm killing an animal while driving. I need them to do something immediately.

I want to file a complaint against Tropical Chevrolet at ******************************* Miami, ** ***** ************* I have a truck that I just bought last year and it has 3 years total warranty, every time I go there they try to charge for a percentage of the job and yesterday I had my truck towed there again and one of the employees kept my key and I cant have my truck fixed until she gets back to work tomorrow 2 days after get my truck dropped of because shes off and instead leave the key on the service she kept the key somewhere and nobody there is helpful because dont even make any effort to contact her for the key and Im not the only one, its a lot of all kind os complains against them. They dont have any responsibility with nobody property and keep taking money from people illegally. All that happens at the service of Tropical Chevrolet in Miami.

Over the weekend, I walked into a buy a truck advertised online on Autotrader. I called the dealership Friday night telling them I will be there, in the morning on Saturday. I arrive at the dealership, see the vehicle on lot and take a test drive with salesman *******************************. The truck was listed as $40k flat online. I also was a participant in the ******************* Discount program. When it came time to negotiating, we agreed upon $42k which I thought was fair for the price before TTL. Well ********, comes back saying the best they can do is $43.7k. I liked the truck, so I agreed but this was a classic bait and switch example, which is a very unethical business practice in the industry. After agreeing, I go to get a cash deposit from my bank (stupid mistake I know, 15k) in order to get a low monthly payment, but when it came down to the financing room , I was met with unanswered questions, rude behavior ******* me, making me talk to the insurance woman, who was unbelievably rude I may add, insulting me, and when it came down to signing papers, I ended up financing $10k more than agreed me upon thereby making my down payment unimportant towards the cost. They ended up adding about $9k more on the paperwork, then what was verbally agreed upon. Do not shop or go here. This is the warning.

No stars! My brother went in to purchase a truck. At purchase he was told they would repair the paint chips that were on it when it came off the truck. They told him that service would handle it after the sale was completed, only they did NOT give him a WE OWE (written documentation that they promised to fix it). When he went to service, it was mentioned again about the paint repair. Service told him they'd have to refer him to the collision center. Took it there and they made him do a diagnostic only to tell him that it wouldn't be covered under warranty. And because they didn't give him a WE OWE, he had no proof and OF COURSE the salesperson no longer works there and the managers, and GM all have amnesia. Its been dragging on for over a year now. The run around was so bad that he got me involved, since I too am in the car business. I called them on three-way with my brother and the sales manager, tried to ***************** me too. Even when I told him I too was in the business he acted like it was okay that they aren't honoring their word. Nothing worse than a bunch of lies! Its why most people think ALL car dealerships are trash...

Title: A Disastrous Experience at Tropical ********************** My recent experience with Tropical ******* repair service has been nothing short of a nightmare. After my car was "fixed" and undergoing a quality check, I was shocked to find that they had broken my window. What's even more disappointing is their complete lack of responsibility and empathy towards the situation.Despite the clear evidence that they were at fault, the manager, ****, refused to provide a loaner car during the repair period. Instead, he repeatedly hung up the phone on me, displaying a shocking lack of professionalism and customer care.As a Tesla Model Y owner, I hoped that their certification as a Tesla repair shop would ensure quality service. However, when I contacted ***** to address the issue, they confirmed that Tropical ***** should have provided a rental car due to the damage they caused. But ****'s arrogance and unwillingness to take accountability were appalling. He even had the audacity to claim that ***** should not tell them how to run their business.Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to steer clear of Tropical ***** when in need of car repairs. Their lack of accountability, poor customer service, and disrespect for their customers' concerns are reasons enough to avoid them at all costs. Save yourself the frustration and find a reputable and responsible repair shop instead.
