On October 3, 2024 Dana's Air Conditioning as a certified comfort service contractor provided service for my York Air Conditioning unit under York warranty. The service and a test involving a part covered under warranty was not under warranty according to Dana's Air Conditioning and therefore they demanded to be paid in full on the same day or they would not leave my property or order the part to finish the job. On the same day, two of their representatives stated the part covered under warranty would be ordered through **** the same day and would be received within a week. Under duress, the total amount was paid in full for Job Number: *****. On October 8, 2024 I sent an email requesting an update.***** ***** from Dana's Air Conditioning responded stating, "Factory is saying Nov 1 we will keep you posted if the date changes", I also requested a copy of the order confirmation for my records and reiterated how two of Dana's Air Conditioning representatives stated to me that the part was expected to be received within one week. ***** ***** emailed stating, "Sorry we dont decide when parts are in stock this is York factory, generally they are pretty good with stock." I requested three separate times for proof of the York order confirmation number, part name, and part number and this information was never provided. Today, on October 18, 2024, another follow up email was sent to Dana's Air Conditioning in reference to a status update along with proof of the York order confirmation for the part required to complete the pending service. The same air conditioning issue is still not resolved and the air is still not cooling properly inside my home as previously discussed with Dana's Air Conditioning representatives. There has been no update or response from Dana's Air Conditioning.

      Business Response

      Date: 11/13/2024

I am not sure what ******* ****** is upset about. On Oct ****** ******* called ****** Air Condition to have a look at his current Air conditioning as it wasn't working properly. Keep in mind we did not install this unit for him. We went out to diagnose the problem, fixed his drain line which was improperly done then had to do a leak test on his coil to see if there was a leak. By doing the leak test we found that his coil was leaking and ordered him a new coil which we did not charge for and had the manufacture reimburse us at a much smaller amount then what we would normally charge. We had to wait until Oct 23, 2024, until the part was available. we then proceeded to install the coil that same day. As of now customer received a new coil which we picked up ordered and processed the warranty for him.
