As statements of fact, such claims can be proved or disproved. The business did not substantiate or modify this claim.
The offers "Get $250 off for full rescreens for Northeast Florida residents only" and "Get a free quote! $250 off all new projects!" appear on its website. A price reduction offer may be used in advertising only if there is a significant reduction from the advertiser's usual and customary price of the products or services offered and the sale is for a limited period of time. If the sale exceeds thirty days, advertisers should be prepared to substantiate that the offering is indeed a valid price reduction and has not become their regular price. The business responded that the "Get a free quote! $250 off all new projects!" offer is an ongoing promotion to all new customers for any first-time service. BBB suggested that the claims be modified to prevent confusion. To date, the claims have not been modified.
