    Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating...ZERO STARS!!!!! American Home Shield (AHS)/ ************* sends Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating (Beaches) to repair my air conditioning for my house on July 11, 2022. The diagnosis is that my heat pump is seized. Because I don't have the Shieldplatnum warranty program, I had to pay $720.00 cash out of pocket (they do not take personal checks) for the Freon before they continued to replace the heat pump (to find out, it is a rebuilt heat pump and not new). Once the heat pump was replaced and the ** unit is running, the tech lets out ***** and says he is trying to get the pressure to even out (no money was reimbursed for the Freon he let out into the air). After that, the tech stated we need an TXV valve (which my system doesn't even have...this was confirmed by another ** company AHS sent out for a second opinion). The ** unit does not cool our house.Another tech comes to check on our ** unit but did not have the replacement with him. He left and no resolve had been reached.We have continually tried to call Beaches to have them return and complete their job but they don't answer! AHS calls and occasionally speaks to them and Beaches is saying they want me to pay ANOTHER $720 before they return with another heat pump. It is now Nov 10, 2022 and the problem is not fixed.

    If I could give 0 stars I would. The girl that answers never gives accurate information. They said they came out to the property they never did. They never communicated with me even after I called a few times to confirm they were still coming out. Very unprofessional and they even hung up on my face and talked over me when I was trying to explain. Horrible service

    This company BEACHES AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING LLC was assigned my service request to service my AC. This company claims someone called my phone from their office (I have no record of the call nor time of ****pm on 7/22) and I said you have the wrong number. So they decided to schedule an appointment and send someone out to the house without confirmation. On 07/26 a technician called and stated he was in route. I had to contact the office and asked can it be rescheduled today because the tech cannot enter my home at this time, I was told I would be put back in line with the scheduler. We spoke to ******** and ******. The situation was very unprofessional, unreliable, not customer service oriented. Does not follow up or follow through as a business who is serving the community should. Per one of the employees, they are understaffed and dont have time to call customers back to confirm appointments before showing up to your home. I am very disappointed in the treatment and the false accusations from this company.

    BEWARE - SCAM! I would give this company a 0 if I could. Technicians are dishonest and poorly-trained. I was lied to multiple times and paid for services I did not receive. In a 2.5 month period they "serviced" the unit 3 times & never repaired it. Stay away and give your business to a reputable company.

    Zero stars. This company was contracted by home warranty and they were unhelpful, unprofessional and wasted my time and money. 1. 1st visit scheduled for 10 days after the call. Thats a while for a Fl summer but ok. It was already not working well and I was advised to turn it off for at least 12 hours before the appt. 2. The appt came and I was at work. The tech was cocky and condescending and told me there was a leak in the condenser. He was very salesman like promoting a Freon sale at $200/# to keep my unit working. He couldnt fix it that day. I asked him to leave documentation of his diagnosis. He did not. 3. The repair was scheduled and again we turned off the ** for 12 hours in 100 degree heat. The tech who arrived had no idea why he was there and had no part with him. He left and I didnt know if he was coming back that day or not 4. I called to ask if the tech was coming back today or if not then when. Also I asked if I was to turn the unit back on or not, The woman had a nasty and defensive attitude. She said she didnt know. I told her that leaving my ** off was really uncomfortable. She said it was standard policy for all calls. I said, I am not doubting that is what you are trained to say, but I have called other companies about ** issues for my business and other homes and this wasnt standard with them so I just want to offer the feedback that from my perspective its a hassle especially if I dont know when to expect another appointment. My tone was professional. Her tone was sharp and she said Maam. Do not talk to me not to talk to me like a child and to find someone else. Next she hung up and I received a text that she cancelled the appointment (no idea when that appointment was supposed to have been). 5. She refused to pick up the phone again. I had to contact my warranty service to get a new company. This cost me WEEKS of lost Freon = lost money.

    ZERO stars. Months long A/C service issue where they either cant figure out the issue or, more likely, they just want to milk my insurance company for as much money as possible. I have had multiple appointments where they just dont show up. Nobody answers the phone. When I call I am either put on indefinite hold, or sent right to voicemail. I have left dozens of un-returned voicemails, but my insurance *** gets answered every time (with the promise Ill get a call back soon still waiting). Their incompetence is only topped by their indifference. The only reason I have had to deal with this trash company is because my insurance (American Home Shield) contracted with them. ************************* (according to ******* ********** of ************** of Corporations) is the officer in charge of this dumpster fire of a company. So I would love an answer as to why ************************* runs such a disgrace of an organization. I await my answer (in a still un-air conditioned house)-MH

    I was finally able to schedule a service appointment (on 7/12/22), not because Beaches Air answered their phone when I called, but because another ticket was opened with the appliance insurance company (American Home Shield). I have yet to have a phone call or voicemail returned by anyone at Beaches Air ever. The repairman **** wasnt able to diagnose the ** coil leak in question, so he promptly left. This may have something to do with his **TIVE CONCUSSION. He admitted to, while attempting repair, currently having a skull concussion. I cant make this up! (I offered the man some water and a place to sit but he declined). I requested to have extra coolant added so that the ** would work temporarily, knowing that it would leak out eventually, but the tech said it would cost too much money for his company, and would be a waste. In the mean time Ive spent over $2,000 on temporary ** units (in for a *****, in for a pound I suppose). I attempted to physically go to the address listed for Beaches Air, but it is just a ***** box. Beaches Air Conditioning and Heating LLC is a sham of a company and should never be patronized by anyone ever. Avoid if convenient. If inconvenient, avoid all the same. -MH
