In 2016 Triune Roofing replaced the roof on my house. I have been experiencing slipping tiles with the underlying felt exposed. I contacted the company several months ago and to date nothing has been done. My handyman went up on the roof to clean the gutters and he said it was very dangerous walking on the tiles as they are slipping.

****************** contacted Triune several months ago and said one tile was slipping near her front entry. We immediately put in a work order and our repair manager went out to her home within a couple of days. While inspecting the roof our repair manager noticed that several tiles were slipping, after investigating, he found that the underlayment was failing. Triune informed ****************** that the tiles were slipping due to a failure of the underlayment and we would be willing to reach out to the manufacturer on her behalf. We told her it can be a lengthy process and that we would let her know once we heard back from the manufacturer. ***************** called me one day and even though I was not the one dealing with the underlayment company I explained to her again that it takes a long time. When a company has something fail they can be very slow in responding because it is going to cost them a lot of money.

Please keep in mind, we installed this roof in 2016 and it came with a 5 year no leak warranty. The issue ****************** is experiencing has absolutely nothing to do with our workmanship in any way. She has had a safe trouble free roof for over 7 years, well past the limits of our warranty. The issue lies in the underlayment and the underlayment alone. I personally spoke to ***************** just a couple of weeks before she filed this complaint and told her that as soon as I heard back from the maunfacturer I would let her know. The next phone call I received was her telling me that she had filed a complaint.

I asked her why she had done that and explained to her that we have no power over the underlayment. The underlayment is one of the many products we use to install a roof if something goes wrong with the underlayment we have to take it up with that company. She said something to the effect of "She isn't happy with the level of communication from Triune" I apologized and told her that we had lost a couple of people from the office but I could cll her weekly if she would like just to let jer know if anything had changed. She said " You don't need to do that as I will be gone until Jan 7th.

I have tried to set all of her worries to rest and we are working on trying to help her get a resolution with the manufacturer. I really don't know what else I can do. We will continue to put pressure on the manufacturer but they move at their own pace.

Please call me with any questions.
