      I moved out of the apartment and gave the proper notices in July. I cleaned the apartment and also patch and repainted the walls. October 22nd 2024 they sent me 1 single email that informed me that *** was unable to deliver the letter and stated the final statement. This single email went into my spam. I called them December 4th 2024 to to form them that I never received the form. They then charge me $513.00 on items that i had complained to maintenance about since first moving in.

      I moved out of the apartment. Gave the proper notice. I cleaned the apartment and touched up all spots with the paint the office provided. I then received my deposit refund. I was charged 200 for a 6 oz. tube of paint they provided. They charged me 488.00 dollars for repainting the tub that was peeling when I moved in. Now I am told 60 days review is needed. They are a rip off and try to scam customers. After they raised my rent 1400.00 a month, when notice was given I was leaving they were willing to negotiate price in rent. They price gouge and the Managers take there time to address any concerns. Do not recommend moving here!

      I am currently in the process of leaving The Lakes at College Pointe, due to a job relocation, so I have to terminate my lease earlier than expected. The property managers have met me with intimidating, dismissive, and unprofessional responses in retaliation for my leave. The leasing agreement is set up without a termination policy in place, so when I sent the official 60 day notice per the office for my leave I was met with additional contracts and a random fine of $3,168.00; and was told I would have to pay in addition to my rent as a separate fee. There are also extra random fees noted on my account from November ****************** prior to my decision to leave. As well as the inconsistencies in the contract policies related to me leaving. This has led to confusion and frustration on my part, as I have not been able to rely on established policies and procedures to guide my tenancy. I expect that as a tenant, I should be treated with respect and professionalism, and that there needs to be clear policies and procedures in the outlined agreement. The office claims that all decisions have to go through corporate while creating their own agenda at will. When I spoke to corporate, they are just an investment firm and the property managers are the ones who manage this account. I, like others who have left a review, have been met with complications and inconsistencies in the process of terminating my lease, which has caused further distress and frustration. The behaviour is predatory, needs to be stopped, and feels like a shakedown! If my credit drops or there is a debt sent to collections due to this issue, this moves into the realm of extortion.
