  Coastal Painting was chosen by my homeowners association to power wash and paint the homes in my community..When it came time to paint my home, I was told by the painter to move my car, which was in the driveway. Contrary to what he told his boss, I did not refuse to move my car but moved it to wherever he told me was okay. I even moved it twice one day to where he said was safer from the paint spray.After my house was painted, I noticed there was white paint spray all over my car, except for the passenger side. I told my management company who reached out to the painting company. Someone came and looked at my car twice but did not speak to me either time. No one got back to the *** so I had to contact them several times. Someone name **** ********* from Coastal finally called me and said his painter said I refused to move my car. Why would I do that? So he lied to his boss. I told him I moved my car more than once to wherever they said was safe. I told him to submit a claim through his insurance company and he said he doesn't want to do that because then his insurance will go up. Too bad, that's why you have it. He was rude and argumentative on the phone, refused to work with me on a solution, and denied responsibility. You responsible for overspray. I only wanted a few hundred dollars to get my car detailed to remove the paint but apparently they are unwilling to do this. Not a reputable company nor do they have any customer service. I would not recommend them to anyone.

  Coastal Painting was a huge disappointment to our association in Florida. They had painted our buildings and sidewalks previously, and then the company was taken over by a new owner.They assigned me a representative because we had issues with our sidewalks peeling and needed to get them repaired per our warranty.Customer service was an absolute nightmare with this company. They did not return phone calls. They showed up late for the appointment and were very condescending during our meeting. My representative never called me back never returned any emails and did not keep me in the loop at all as to progress. We eventually ended up hiring another company to redo the work they had done because we could get no cooperation from Coastal Painting.I would not recommend this company to anyone!!

  The work we performed was completed in 2021.  We provide a 1 year warranty on sidewalks, walkways, and other areas that have extensive foot traffic and exposure to extreme elements.  The association was looking for repairs 3 years after the work was completed.  Therefore, the request for warranty work fell outside of the stated 1 year warranty by 2 years.

  This company recently power washed in the community that I live in. My building was power washed in March. After I came back from work in the evening, I noticed the water splashed on my window sills in my dinning room, master bedroom and guest bedroom which I left the window opened during the day. A few days later, I noticed my window plantation shutters is swollen at the bottom due to the water splashed in from power washing. I do take some of the ownership of not closing the windows. However, they did not use extreme caution to avoid the open windows. They refused to take any liability in my damaged property and declined my claim.

  Resident was provided and confirmed receipt of notice to power wash the building prior to commencement of work. This is standard operating procedure at Coastal. We confirm that this claim was denied due to negligence on the resident's part. This has been communicated to the *** as well as the resident's insurance company.
