  Dear BBB,I am writing to formally complain against MWR Financial regarding their unfair refund policy and suspected manipulative practices.On May 16th, 2024, I paid $149.99 plus $21.00 to MWR Financial for credit repair and other services. When the service did not meet my expectations, I requested a refund but was told I did not qualify unless I completed a "72-hour challenge."I find this policy to be unreasonable and unfair:Unclear Terms at Purchase: The need to complete a "72-hour challenge" for a refund or even in general for utilization purposes was not disclosed at the time of purchase, which is misleading and deceptive. Unreasonable Requirement: The challenge is designed to make obtaining a refund excessively difficult and serves as a tactic to avoid issuing refunds.Privacy Concerns: MWR Financial has requested additional personal information as part of this challenge. Given their deceptive practices, I do not feel safe providing them with more personal information.Lack of Transparency and Accountability: Attempts to resolve this issue directly with MWR Financial have been met with resistance and manipulation. Text messages from their service staff indicate they are short-staffed and unable to provide the services they offer.Failure to ******* Services: MWR Financial does not repair credit as advertised. They lack phone service and updated information on credit and consumer laws. I was instructed to send out dispute letters with incorrect dates, incurring additional costs for certified mail without any value.I believe MWR Financial's practices are designed to scam consumers out of their money without providing a fair opportunity for a refund if they do not provide the services offered.I urge the BBB to investigate MWR Financial's business practices and take appropriate action to ensure they operate transparently and fairly towards consumers.Consumers please be careful, do not expect fair and just treatment with this company.

  No se dejen engaar, supuestamente podramos mudarnos para una casa en lo que arreglas el credito y la hibas pagando para ti, si **** asi me dijeron pero es una verdadera mentira. El proceso se lleva mas o menos como una compra por el banco con su proceso regular en la casa que tu ni buscas. Pero yo me comunicare con mi banco lo Antes possible te hacen pagar una mensualidad y te dicen que ************* a conseguir las personas para que esten debajo de su nombre otra mentira mas no me ayudaron y me llego el mensaje que tenia que poner la tarjeta del banco para que ellos continuaran cobrando la mensualidad. Lo mas que me enoja es que el tal ***************************** no coge las llamadas despues de decirle a uno que nos hiba ayudar. Luego me dice que entiendo su frustracin. Cuando desde el principio le dijimos todo lo que podiamos hacer o no. Pero claro villas y ********* para que entres despues cuando tienes la soga al cuello el ni responde y nunca mas cojio el telfono. Muy mal de esta compaa pence que podiamos mudarnos lo antes possible pero nooo. No pierdan su tiempo ni su dinero

  There is nothing in our platform that says we or anyone else affiliated with us can help you move into a new home immediately.  Also, we offer several services within our membership that are designed to put you in the best position possible to qualify for a home loan by lowering your debt to income ratios, restoring your credit, increasing your cashflow and buying power.  All of which takes time, but is much faster than doing nothing.  Our Keys to Homeownership program also offers assistance in helping you locate a home that fits within your budget.  When that happens and you have the appropriate down payment, they can potentially buy the home for you and allow you to rent to own, while using our services to put yourself in a position to qualify for financing.  If that can't happen, they will then owner finance the property for you, if you have made all of your rent payments on time.  This is all covered via our site and before engaging in our membership or any of our services, regardless of what anyone may have told you prior to joining.  Our program has also assisted hundreds of people become homeowners who are will to follow our system and the guidance of our experts.  I sincerely wish you the best, but your claims regarding MWR are simply not true.  Instead, you wanted something we do not offer and when you were informed of this, you decided to go this route and slander us, instead of letting us help you within the guidelines we offer.  Sincerely, ************** House - CEO

  If I could give one start I would. They didnt answer any of my questions but as soon as I asked how do I cancel they did just that. They didnt ask what was wrong or if the could fix the issue or anything. They emailed me and old me my letters went out in October but I never herd anything from the companies so I emailed MWR and told them I havent received any letters from the companies. I even took a screenshot of when they emailed me in October. They told me we sent the letters out in Nov but I never received an emails stating my letters were sent out in November. They went around what I asked and referred me to talk to someone else when they was the ones I was supposed to had been talking to. Waist of my time and money.

  Our Experts provided all of the services requested by ****** and it is very well documented in our system.  Our system tracks and records all calls, emails, and chats initiated by our clients and there were no communications that were not responded to or answered in regards to her requests.  As far as canceling her when she requested us to do so, I'm not sure how that was wrong or how we were supposed to assume she wanted us to provide her with additional assistance or why she would expect additional assistance after she requested to cancel.  However, We would like wish her the best!  Sincerely, ************** House -CEO

  They did not do the work I paid them for. Joined Aug 25 to get them to clean up my credit report and as of today Nov. 15 I see no correspondence from any credit bureau that anything has been done on my behalf. Their website said they were sent out, but I've gotten no response. First, they said I didn't send all the info in, which I reviewed with my rep when I signed up now it takes 60 days for a response while they are charging you $99. per month. Two months in no results. I've inquired about a refund after the first month was denied and assured my paperwork was submitted now it's going on the third month I had to cancel and requested a refund for work not done and was denied. They did not do what was promised and I want a refund for services not rendered.

  After reviewing ****************** account, it is clear that our staff completed the work she is referencing in her review multiple times.  Her claims are false and if she did not receive a response from *********** as she suggested, which is a requirement by law, then her grievance is with the credit bureaus for not complying and not with us.  Typically, this only happens when the address provided to our staff is not correct or the client has used another company at the same time or recently, prior to engaging with us.  Our refund policy is very clear and Credit Restoration is a Free Benefit of our membership, which is clearly outlined and agreed to by her prior to her enrolling in our membership.  For these reasons, ************** is not eligible or *********** a refund and her false claims here have eliminated any desire to assist her in the future.  We wish her the best.  Sincerely, ******************** - CEO

  I've been with MWR for 5 months now and 1.) their customer service is just not great, it takes weeks for them to return my call or email. 2.) I have asked what's the status, how come I have not heard back from the credit bureaus neither have received any paperwork through mail as promised FOR MONTHS! All they have said is they will re-mail out paperwork AGAIN. 3.) 5 months later, I still haven't received anything back, nothing was ever resolved and now they're not able to refund my full amount I spent with them over $600 paying for MONTHS! WHATEVER THEY ARE THEY'RE A SCAM PLEASE PASS IT ON! You can do it yourself. THIS IS A FALSE COMPANY AND JUST TAKE YOUR HARDWORKING MONEY FOR NOTHING. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!!
