Deserves zero stars. Horrible customer service both the receptionist and the technician. He LIED and said I was aggressive. I was not! I ask him to have the owner of the company to call me. He wanted to know why , so I told him I was going to give the company a bad review; and his response was , I am not going to tell the owner that, and I dont care how many reviews you give. The technician said he was cancelling the warranty I paid $909 in December 2022. I am perfectly fine with not doing anymore business with this company, but since they cancelled the contract, I need a pro rated refund back to me. Apparently the owner is not getting my request, or he is the reason the company runs like it does. Many times employees treat the customer the way their superiors treat them. I am still open to talking directly to the owner. His employees are liars.

Approximately three years ago, you purchased a garage door rebuild from us, during which our technician replaced several moving parts and provided a 10-year warranty on those specific components. Recently, you contacted us regarding a new issue with your door. The same technician who originally serviced your door visited your home to assess the problem.Upon inspection, it was determined that the garage door had been brought down on a broom, causing a mechanical issue. As this was not related to a failure of the parts we installed, it fell outside the scope of your warrantywhich covers part failure, not accidental damage or user error. The technician resolved the issue and informed you of a standard $85 labor fee for the visit.Unfortunately, the interaction that followed became extremely hostile. Our technician reported being screamed at and subjected to aggressive behavior, including physical intimidation. This behavior continued during a call to our office, where our office manager attempted to calmly explain the warranty terms and associated charges. I have since listened to the recording and can confirm the conversation was handled professionally on our end.We understand that unexpected service charges can be frustrating. However, verbal abuse and aggression toward our staff are never acceptable. Out of concern for the safety and well-being of our team, we have made the decision to void your warranty and will no longer provide service to your residence. Our team is committed to delivering excellent service, and we always strive to treat our customers with respect. We ask for the same in return. We wish you the best moving forward.

Terrible experience. They lost the warranty record, so had to dig out the actual paper receipt. They told me they didn't even service Tampa and hadn't for a long while, when found the reciept, the date was for 8/22... doesn't sound like a long while to us. Then they proceeded to blame us for incorrectly describing the issue, and then went on to say that wouldn't be covered by the rollers anyway. Left a ****** review about the issue, and they left the nastiest most unprofessional reply, attacking us for being renters and not owners, and then threatening to upload an audio version of our phone call. Who does that?? The call wasn't even out of line, and lasted only minutes, so their threat was really to badmouth us on ****** is all. Classless and rude move by a "professional" business. Would NOT ever do business with them, again. Beware.

The absolute lack of self awareness for a person using the email 'mikevicksdogs' to call someone else out as 'classless' is shocking in and of itself. We expect when someone calls us to ask about a warranty that they're a capable enough human being to provide the correct information for our team to find their account. The issue being, you claimed to be the homeowner and didn't provide the real homeowner's name. So that failed to bring up THEIR account, because YOU do not have one. When the agent attempted to help you, you berated her and cursed at her. When your landlord called us back, she explained the situation and even your landlord was embarrassed by your behavior and gave us quite the earful of what you've been like to deal with. We don't care that you rent. We care that you're a bully and we don't allow anyone to attack members of our staff just because they're an angry little man. YOU never did business with us in the first place, so you're line of 'would never do business with them again' is hysterical. Maybe spend less time bullying women and attacking businesses online and more time learning how computer search functions work.

This business overcharged me for a garage door installation. The unit, a genie 1/2 hp normally sells for $200 plus or minus, this company charged me $600 for the unit and the installation. The $400 is excessive!!! The installation took about 1 1/2 hours or $350 per hour. I reached out to the company and received no response until today. Their response was non responsive to the complaint only an argument. I paid the amount requested $600 in cash. I believe a fair and equitable fee for the install would more closely be no more than $200 that would include the labor and the house/service call. They, the company Garage Door Pros, should reimburse me $200.

I highly recommend Forida Garage Door Pros. My Genie Directlift Garage Door Opener needed maintenance and replacement of some parts. Nick came out on the same day that I called and was very professional, informative, and friendly. He did a great job and my opener is running smooth and much quieter than before, just perfectly! I'm so happy that I called them and I will be using them for future services.
