      In DEC 2023 this company Kel-Tec firearms advertised a rebate for one of their firearms and I purchased one and sent them the required paperwork to claim the rebate. I received an E-mail from them verifying that they'd received the paperwork and according to the E-mail they said: "You will receive additional email(s) indicating the progress of your submission as we validate your claim and process your fulfillment request." The e-mail further stated: "Note: Please do not reply to this message." I never received a single e-mail, letter, phone call as to the status of the claim so I finally contacted them after 6 months. A company representative told me that the rebate had ended and I'd missed out due to my failure to contact them. This appears to me to have been nothing more than a scam by this company to boost sales as it appears that they had no intention of fulfilling this rebate claim. All I want to resolve this is the $100 that I was promised.

      I am sorry for the confusion with your rebate. The rebates were being handled by Rapid Rebate and we are not able to send any funds out fro our facility. You can follow up with Rapid Rebate concerning any questions regarding the rebate.

      I am rejecting this response because: I don't feel that this response is fair, I don't know who "Rapid rebates" is or how to contact them, and further more it's the companies responsibility to follow through with the issuance of this rebate as that was basically what/how I was told it would happen when I submitted the required paperwork to them to claim this rebate.

      Price gouging during covid. Bought for **** late July, worth 700 within 3 months. Asked for call back soon after this occurred and was blatantly ignored and disrespected. Had to keep calling back and got run around each time. Was wiling to work a deal involving another purchase to help make it fair but they didn't even offer the respect of a callback. No other similar firearm during this period even dropped in price. The only reason this took so long was because they blew me off and I gave up.

      Do you review the responses? They didn't do anything just like my complaint said, At least they replied but I asked for some form of retribution and they did not address that.

      I purchased a Kel-Tec firearm (RDB) from a third party. Due to functionality issues I sent the rifle in for service twice to the manufacturer KelTec. The service was approved and KelTec sent me a shipping label to mail it directly to them on 06/15/23; this would be the 2nd time i needed to send it in. On 07/12/23 I was notified by a customer service rep that they would not be able to return the rifle to me. WA passed HB-1240 "assault weapons ban" on 04/25/23 which precludes purchase of firearms based on certain characteristics. HOWEVER such firearms owned prior to passage of the law are grandfathered in, and HB-1240 does not in any restrict such firearms from being transported in/out of the state, not does it prohibit transfer to a licensed FFL and gunsmith for repair and service.

      The service rep claims that their legal team is prohibiting sending firearms to states where they are banned for sale. To reiterate, I already legally owned the firearm prior to the law passage. They are essentially refusing to return my legal property. They told me my only option is to have it shipped to an out of state licensed dealer and to retrieve it from them. Such a trip would be a long one based on where I live if I could even find a dealer willing to help me.

      On April 21st 2023I sent in a request for a $100 rebate to kel-tec for a product I purchased. I sent in all required information as requested by the online form. I waited the ten weeks the company told me to wait and did not receive the rebate. I called kel-tec and they sent me to a third party who then told me they didn't receive the serial number of the item so I resent the serial number. On July 7 2023 I received another e-mail saying my claim was received . On August 4th I again called kel-tec to inquire about my rebate. The secretary was very unhelpful and transferred me to a supervisor. The supervisor did not answer his phone.
