    I recently purchased a new firearm from this company. It arrived new in box. While inspecting the gun, before ever firing it, I discovered its defective. When the slide locks to the rear, the magazine will not release. I also noticed the box it came in was cut out for a large frame handgun with an optic. It was not cut out for a compact handgun. I included a photo of my gun in the box. Upon contacting EAA and apprising them of the situation, they told me the box was the correct packaging for my gun. They also refused to exchange my gun for another same model. They told me I had to ship the gun back to them through an FFL vendor, at my cost, estimated $100.

    eaa corp has the absolute worst customer service (shouldn't even be called customer service!). they force you to go through an ffl dealer to send in for repair. because it went through an ffl i had to pay for another transfer fee. including the transfer fee and **** shipping cost (both ways) my cost was more than $100. i have dealt with several gun manufacturers/distributors who sent me a shipping label to send it directly to them and also free return shipping. i believe that eaa's warranty is designed to discourage warranty service. by the way the other companies were ruger, kimber and springfield, it is not a surprise that the eaa corp is not accredited by the better business bureau.
