      dropped off a quality cleaners a quilt to be cleaned July 15 2024 Went to pick it up 2 wks later wasn't back from store factory. followed up 2 wks later, could not locate. per clerk. again followed up was told by clerk I should call store factory, ************ spoke to A ******* was told she'd check it out. I called back ******* stated couldn't locate quilt, she'd return call. middle Aug.' i called back, was told ******* not available; spoke to ******* she said couldn't locate it, she had checked other store in ********* fla, could not locate Quilt. Shed have ******* ll me back.******* did not call back. Sept. I called again ******* not available , called again, spoke to ******* no results , will have ******* return call. up until now, excuse after excuse,Latest one is *******' mother sickly I should call after xmas.spoke to *** said call after new year Have a nice holiday she said. I again called on 1/3/25 Spoke to *** She'll have ******* call me. They will not resolve this problem, I have my Receipt that I dropped it off' They just ignore the situation.

      On June 20, 2024, I dropped off at Touch of Quality, ******************, a light-colored bed cover to be dry cleaned. I was told by *****, the employee, that the item would be ready on July 3, 2024 and was given receipt (#*****-536) with my wife's name on it (***********************). I returned on July 3 and gave my ticket to *****. He looked up the item and said it was not ready and to check back after the holiday. I stopped back on July 5, 2024 and the item wasnt back yet. I checked on Monday, July 8, 2024, in the afternoon. I continued to check in multiple times each week and each time was assured the item would be in the next day. Finally, on July 15, 2024, I was to contact ******* at Touch of Quality ************. I called on July 16, 2024 at 4:17 PM. I was told she wasnt in. Call back in the morning. I called July 17, 2024 at 9:51 AM. She wasnt in yet. I called at 12:14 PM. I was put on hold. I then spoke with ****** and explained what item I was looking for. She appeared to be aware of my problem and I offered to send her pictures of a bed cover my wife had told me was similar. She asked me to text the picture to her phone at ************. I did and she verified she had received the pictures and would share them with ******* and ******* would call me back. No call back. On July 22, 2024, I called again. I was told ******* would call me back. No call back.As a result of all this, I decided to contact the Better Business Bureau. Before I did, I decided to call ******** number one more time. Well, more then one more time. Seven busy calls and final an answer and I final got to speak to ******* at 11:07 AM. We spoke for 9 minutes and 31 sec. She agreed the item I had left had been lost, probably given to a different customer by mistake. She took my mail address information and agreed to send me a check for $65. I thanked her and assumed the problem had been resolved. Except for one thing, it is now August 7, 2024 at 7:24 PM and I have not received a check from her.

      I received a telephone call from the owner of the company and he agreed to issue me a check in the amount of $65. I received the check a few days ago and the issue has now been resolved. Thank you for your intervention.

      We paid the customer on the 14th of August and they cashed the check on the 19th. I have enclosed a copy of the canceled check.
