    Easily the worst moving experience I have ever had. They guaranteed us a delivery date which is why we chose them (we were going on a trip shortly after the move and were on a specific timeline). They ended up showing up 4 days later than promised.After picking up our items it was impossible to get in contact with the agent who initally booked us or any of their customer service representatives. When we did get in touch they gave no helpful updates as to where our belongings were or when they would arrive.They kept adding charges after picking up our stuff. Since they had all of our belongings we could not realistically say no.Multiple items came damaged including water damage on our mattress and dents/cracks in our furniture.The insurance is also a scam and doesnt actually pay out.DO NOT use this service. It is awful, you are better off hiring a moving company directly.

    We are sorry to see the customer feels this was a poor experience. As expressed verbally and contractually, we do not guarantee delivery dates. We provide a window just like most movers in the industry. When a customer is moving 500 cf. and shipped out on a truck that hold ****cf there are other moves taking place. Traffic, weather, and unforeseen circumstances are in play. Directly after any customer books, they are sent to the verification too, who specifically goes over this with the customer to ensure everyone is on the same page.

     

    Prior to the pickup, we placed a courtesy call to the customer, allowing them to add or remove items from the inventory to ensure accuracy at pickup. At this time they added roughly 100cf consisting of boxes and few furniture pieces. This is the only reason the cost increased. The customer then signed a new agreement on their own accord. Keep in mind, they could have stayed at the original inventory and the cost would not have changed at all.

    After pickup on 6/12, customer started calling in looking for delivery ETA. We were only a couple of days into a **** day spread and did not have the answers they were looking for just yet. Customer continued to call into our after hours team when we were closed. Our after hours are a 3rd party that is available to answer calls in the event of an emergency, they are not able to provide a delivery ETA when we are closed as a business.

    If the customer incurred broken/damaged items, we do apologize, however, this is an insurance claim. Reviewing the file, it appears they only went with the base minimum insurance of 10k standard liability. When signing the Bill of lading, customer have the option to purchase additional coverage. In this case it was not, unfortunately.

    Hello,

    At no time do we guarantee delivery dates, no movers sets this kind of expectation in the moving industry. We provide an average based on previous routes. However, we are in communication with customer throughout the course of the move if need be. 

    Customer stated they were unable to reach us. We have had a full staff in the customer service department for the entire moving season. Our 888 number would need to be contacted during normal business hours and the proper prompts need to be followed to reach the proper party. 

    If the customer incurred damages during the move this would be an insurance claim. If assistance is needed in this matter, please reach out to our customer service team.

    They were scheduled the delivery on Monday the 17th, now they are telling me to call back on the 21st for a delivery date. Moving a 172 miles!! I said that was unacceptable, they say totally acceptable. When I asked for a manager, they said no managers available.

    Hello,

    We are sorry if the delivery as not as prompt as the customer would have liked. This move took place in the heart of moving season and it was imperative that these routes left the warehouse as full loads in order to service everyone's move in a timely manner. Customer was picked up on the 14th but listed their first available delivery date for the 16th. In this case the goods are brought back to the warehouse being that the customer was not ready for a straight shot. 

    We cannot leave the warehouse with a truck that holds **** cf with only 700cf. This would not have been the case for any long distance moving company. This is simple just how the industry works. 

    We do apologize for the inconveniences that *** have occurred for the customer. We did have their best interest in mind during the entire process.

    Not gonna go into full details about the mess this company is and how they scam you for extra money when they get to the destination. Its been 2 months and theyre not responding to the damages done to the most important items that needed to be moved from ** to *****. Ill put the pics up to show how my things arrived and leave the decision to you if you want to use this sh!77Y company.

    We are sorry to hear that the customer incurred broken/damaged items during the transit. In this case the matter would be an insurance claim as we are not responsible for these situations. As the moving broker, we never touched the items. The additional cost went directly to the mover that was dispatched to the job. We do not profit from these situations this is simple for additional space needed on the truck, labor, fuel, and taxes.

    I am beyond upset at this point. My move has been a complete joke to this company. They do not care that when the people came out we told them we could move in by the 7th. (They told us **** days if we has a move in date, then said if not we would have to wait 21). Which turned into 21 business days, which turned into 21 business days minus 2 holidays. Guess what? Coming up on the 29th. So our stuff is now 21 days (with weekends included and 1 holiday). They were supposed to load up and ship last weekend. And **** days we would have it. NOPE!!! They didn't load up we have NO estimated date of arrival, and now what? Who at this company even cares. My husband and I are sleeping on the floor on innerspring mattresses from ******* bc our bed should be here any day. My daughter doesn't like her room bc it's empty minus some stuffies we packed in our car. I am over waiting for my things, my 4 year old cries bc one of her favorite dolls got packed on the moving van and she misses her and I can't even put on a calendar what day she will get her back to cross off days. My back is out, as is my husband's due to sleeping on the floor. I am exhausted. I want my bed back. I want my furniture. I want my pictures. I want my daughter's toys.All my pictures are packed in there, I lost my dad this year and all the tangible photos I have of him are in the move, I don't even know where they are at at this point. I have 0 confidence that I will get my stuff before the 21 day *****

    Hello,

    We understand the customer may have misunderstood how the ****** First available delivery date works. When the movers arrive and have the customer sign off on the paperwork, they ask what is your ****? If a customer is ready for immediate delivery, they need to put next day. However, if the customer puts the **** for a week out, the items are then brought to the warehouse and consolidated. 1 Week later, they would start the scheduling for delivery. This process is done by ALL companies to avoid driving 100's if not 1000's of mile only to get to a home in which the owners have not arrived.

    Directly after booking, costumer are put through  a verification call in which the **** is discussed. Furthermore, we send a customer rights and responsibilities email 1 week prior to the move, the **** is also discussed in the email.

    Unfortunately, what we have discussed in this response is a direct result of the customers' situation. Nothing was done intentionally, no one dropped the ball here. This is simply a misunderstanding as to the ****.

    Very poor communication and not respect to peoples time ,furniture and property. Dont book it , and by the way they aint cheap theyll increase the rate the night before.

    Hello,

    When reviewing the file it appears we contacted the customer to notify them of delivery, They asked what the process would be if they weren't able to be present. We informed them that the goods would have to be brought to a storage unit until they could accept delivery, as we have a very busy schedule. 

    When reviewing the file there are detailed notes as to the process throughout the course of the move. We are not sure as to why they are displeased specifically. This was a large move consisting of **** cubic feet, this is more than half of a semi truck's worth of stuff. We understand moving is expensive, however, this is the economy we live in these days. 

    Furthermore, prior to the pickup, we placed a call from ***************** allowing the customer to add or remove items from the inventory for accuracy. At this time, the customer added *****. This type of increase is rather large and does indeed influence the cost to increase. Customer are in full control of the cost of their move as they tell us the inventory to be moved. If they reduce items, the cost comes down. In the event they add items, the cost would increase at the locked in price per cf as well as the other charges that apply.

    We hope the customer can understand where we are coming from as a company and wish them the best in all of their new endeavors.

    This company contracts out to other companies that are unprofessional when moving your items. One source will tell you that the delivery will likely happen in **** days, but it is up to the contractors they hire to actually move your items what the actual timeline is. Once you have paid and they movers show up, they make you sign a different contract saying they can take up to 30 business days. The movers they contracted were unprofessional, including vaping, arguing with each other, and dropping screws for my furniture assembly (which luckily we noticed and picked up). Will not be using them again for my near future move and will be discouraging anyone I know from using these services. More convenient and less costly to drive your own Uhaul!!!!!!!!!

    We are sorry to hear the customer is displeased with the level of services provided. We clearly state, we do not guarantee delivery dates. This is gone over contractually and verbally directly after signing the contract. We provide an average spread based on the route and volume of the moving industry. The new contract the customer is referring to is called the Bill ** Lading, every mover is to provide this 3 days prior to the pickup. This has all the customer rights and responsibilities but more importantly the tariff's for the carrier.

    They took care of all my belongings with great responsibility and care. What I liked was the suggestion to protect the TV with wallpaper to prevent scratches and damage to very fragile items like my TV.
