I Purchased an Extended Car Warranty with this Company on 9/15/2022 the Total amount is ******** the Monthly Payment is $146.70 have been paying this faithfully i was told that the warranty that i got was top coverage but one of my Daytime Running light's stop working took the Car in for Repair the **************** said it wasn't covered it cost me $700.00 out of Pocket that was Heartbreaking now here we go again my Car Broke Down over heating ****** check Engine on had it towed to the Repair shop was told it need a Mass Air Flow Sensor for the Engine **** i also need a power window Switch the cost was Total $990.36 and the parts that was needed was covered by the Warranty but the **************** only wanted to pay $148.00 for everything so i paid $380.00 on my Credit Card to have the Sensor replaced this is a **************** i have Paid over $3000,00 to this Company they Scammed me GoodBusiness Response

Thank you for bringing this up to our attention. Upon checking claim history, we found the following:
Client purchased coverage with ******* miles.
Due to the high mileage, we explained clearly that the coverage plan available would cover many components. However, at 156k miles, new car coverage is no longer available.
Upon further review it is determined that we actually did pay two claims out on this policy.
All amounts approved for payment are based on recognized nationwide listings providers such as ************ KellyBlueBook, etc to show precisely what is the expected / approved market cost of parts and labor required for the repair.
In this case, it seems the dealership grossly overcharged the client and charged them $448.98 for a part listed at a cost of $77. Therefore, as we explained to Mr. ******* the policy paid out "as advertised", and would only cover the listed price of the part $77. We understand the dealership overcharged client by 5800% mark up for the same part. We further explained that in this case, he can take it to another shop or we can ship the part directly to the shop.

I started this service back in November of ***************************************************** anything Could not Afford to get it so I called on June to cancel I didn't know that you had to pay a 50 dollar Cancellation fee and to write a letter I had been with other companies before like Car shield and endurance I wish I would had stay with one of them They are not like that. You get a 30 day money back guarantee. But this company is a rip-off. And even they suppose to have their 30 day money back guarantee. And I cancel way before that time in June so July payment would not come out.Never had to use the service They're calling my home threatening to ruin my credit to put a lean on my for $99.99. I am sick and tired of them. This is a shame. And when I signed up for the service, the person that I spoke with name *********, never told me anything about their cancelation policy of the end, you get a 30 day, money back guarantee and that was it. Please note that we take great pride in our products as well as our customer service and always strive to go above and behind client expectations.
However,it seems some clients choose to file complaints containing inaccurate and defamatory statements.
We have thoroughly researched *************************************** complaint. In addition, we pulled and reviewed all phone recordings archived on file, which included all our conversations with ************************************. During our review we found that *************************************** complaint contains false claims, and unfounded allegations, which are both damaging and misleading to us and to the public.
In her complaint *********************************** claims she never used our service. We do show a claim filed on April 4th 2024 and approved for $50.75
In her complaint *********************************** claims she was never told about a cancellation fee. We checked and have a recorded voice authorization for all payments as well as a cancellation fee.
We have offered to play the recordings back for ***********************************, but she has refused any additional steps to assist and clarify any confusions.As for cancellation of Policy, please note the following verbiage from page #** of Policy:
"To initiate a cancellation YOU must contact the VENDOR or ADMINISTRATOR to complete and sign a cancellation form, or mail written notice to the ADMINISTRATOR which includes YOUR: CONTRACT Number, Full Name, Telephone number, reason for cancellation and YOUR signature. A notarized odometer statement or a receipt from a nationally recognized company that includes YOUR Vehicle Identification Number, current mileage of YOUR VEHICLE and the date of VEHICLE service must accompany YOUR request to cancel. The odometer statement or receipt that includes YOUR VEHICLES mileage must be dated within 15 days of YOUR request to cancel (except in the case of repossessed, stolen or totaled vehicles. The ADMINISTRATOR may require supporting documentation under these circumstances)."
Without any legal justification, *********************************** has charged back and refused payment of monthly earned premiums via a credit card dispute, based on payment schedule approved and voice authorized On 11/3/2023. Irrefutably, we rendered services to *********************************** and she disputed the charges after receipt of our services. Falsely disputing charges with your bank causes additional fees to be charged to our accounts and constitutes civil theft. Therefore,this matter is now forwarded to our Legal Counsel or additional follow-up.

I started with this company back in Nov of 2023.I was paying. $99.99 a month the only time I used them was April 4, 2024 to get a oil change because it was pair of of my plan service. And they got paid for the month of April but when I decided to no longer use them I gave my 30 day Notice just like I did with other two companies I was with like Car shield and endurance.never had a problem with them if they would had told me when I first sign up with them back in Nov of 2023 that if I whated to cancel that I had to pay $50 dollars to cancel I would have never signed up without them because that is more money for me and I on a Fix income. Could not even afford to pay the $99 a month. But I wanted coverage for my car, but I should have stayed with endurance. Never had a problem with that company at all and they was not like that. I did.N't call them. They contacted me and I am so sorry that I dealt with them but they was telling me what a good company that they was. That's why I left who I was with and I am so sorry for that but it's no way that I will assign them for them. No one any time I was ready to cancel that I will have to pay $50. On 11/3/2023 I signed a contract for an extended warranty for my Dodge Challenger. Initially I gave them the required current mileage. Upon receiving the contract they added more than a thousand miles to the contract. I called and requested they change it to the correct miles. They claimed that they did.On May 15th and over 1500 miles later I took the car to the dealership for engine repair. They denied the claim due to the mileage discrepancy and claimed that the car had oversized tires. Realistically I feel that American Protection Corp is under contract with me to repair my covered vehicle. I realize that the claim is for a substantial dollar amount however making up a bogus reason not to cover the claim is poor business practices. During our review we found that ******************** had purchased coverage for his 2014 Dodge Challenger on November 3rd 2023. At the time of purchase ******************* was asked to provide the exact mileage of his vehicle as well as confirm that the vehicle has not been modified in any way (including oversized tires).
******************** has provided the exact mileage and confirmed that the vehicle has NOT been modified in any way.
Please note that the all vehicle service contracts have a waiting period of 30 days and ***** miles. ******** when ******************** brought in his vehicle for repair, we learned that he was still within his validation * waiting period as per the contract stats and the required ***** miles have not been reached.
In addition, at the time of claim inspection it was discovered the vehicle has been modified and therefore the claim has been denied and the service contract has been cancelled.

When I signed up with American Protection Corp and gave them the exact miles for the start of the contract I found that upon receipt of the contract that they had added more than a thousand miles to the original miles that I gave them at that time I called them they said that they would make the adjustment and apologize for the mistake. When I took the car in for service I had over ***** mi on it and I had exceeded the 3-month waiting. They had a secondary company called Becovered who had the original incorrect miles that was how they determined that I had not met the requirement so numerous phone calls later they agreed that they had the incorrect miles and apparently made an adjustment to the correct miles with Becovered. Then they came up with the idea that I had oversized tires on the vehicle. I talked to the Dodge dealership ****** Dodge in **************** and they told me that the tires on the car are a standard size for that year and make. So I'm feeling like they just tried to get out of honoring the contract and repairing my vehicle because of their mistake and misunderstanding of the correct tire size. My car is a Challenger SRT8 which is a high performance vehicle The tire size is standard. It is my belief and wishes to have American protection Corp cover the repair costs according to the contract that I paid for. If they are not willing to uphold the contract then I feel I should have a full refund of all money is paid.

Good afternoon. I attached the detailed inspection report for review as well as two images.
The OEM tires from this vehicle are 245/45 ZR20 (as per sticker on vehicle see below).
The tires on the vehicle are 275/40 R20.
This is an increase in width of 12.2%.
The vehicle manufacturer determines OEM size and is affixed to the vehicle with the sticker below.

I feel like American Protection Corp is refering to a standard Challenger.
Mine is a Challenger SRT8 which is a higher performance vehicle than the standard model and requires a more aggressive tire.
I would like them to verify that they have the proper model and prove their claim that the tires are not a standard size option for this model.

Client authorized payments on a recorded line and received policy paperwork via **** tracking .#******************** as well as email delivery to: **********************.
Without any legal justification, client has retained and refused payment of monthly earned premiums via a credit card dispute stating it was due to fraudulent charges. Irrefutably, we rendered services and client disputed all monthly charges. This constitutes civil theft. Please see copy of legal document sent to client via ** Certified mail.As a result of client's actions, our account is charged a $50 charge-back (X2) fee as well as the all the funds paid for the coverage we provided.
Client's complaint is simply inaccurate as client continues to provide false information as we are only trying to collect fees incurred by client falsely reporting approved transaction as fraudulent after authorizing payments and providing payment and verbal authorizations.A notice was provided to client as a condition precedent for filing a lawsuit. See Fla. Stat. Sec. 772.11.
The statute also authorizes treble damages. The statute allows client a period of 30-days from the receipt of our notice to comply with our demand for payment. The statute also provides for us to collect attorney's fees, if we retain an attorney, and court costs, to file suit to collect the money owed.This demand will remain open for thirty days from the receipt date of our letter sent to: ********************** APT 404 **************, ** 34689

Customer signed up on April ******** for coverage on her 2016 CHRYSLER 200, the policy went into effect and a welcome package containing the policy and ID cards were mailed out to ****************** on 4/5/2022 via **** Tracking #*****************XXX.
Package containing Policy was delivered on 4/9/2022 to customer's address at ************************************************************************.
On May 4th 2022,a monthly payment was due as per Service Agreement and authorized by *****************.
A timely payment is required in order to keep policy active.
We attempted to process payment as per customer's preferred method of payment on file. However, payment was declined.
We then attempted to reach ****************** via phone, email and SMS messages. However, all of our attempts to reach client have gone unanswered and ignored.
Our attempts to contact ****************** and collect a payment to keep policy active have continued for 32 days. All attempts have been ignored by ******************. At that time the policy was 62 days!!! late on payment. Customer's policy has been canceled due to non-payment.
It is unfortunate client attempted to file a claim on an unpaid policy while completely ignoring all of our attempts to bring policy up to date on payments.
We have tried to accommodate ****************** in many ways. However, client refused to submit any payments on policy till the claim was already called in. By then,policy has already been cancelled due to non-payment.
Once ****************** was made aware that policy was cancelled, she kept calling our sales line and harassing many of our agents. We received and recorded over 30 calls from ***************** within a period of 20 minutes with harassing, vulgar and inappropriate language.

I am rejecting this response because:the claims that are being addressed are phony. The reason I called so many times is cause someone will answer the phone and say I need to get you to the right **** and transfer me and then the person would hang up. I was calling to get a refund for my payment made 6/27 since it was canceled and kept getting the run around. So if the policy was canceled why still accept payment and NOT PROPERLY advise me that it was canceled so therefore I wouldnt of made a payment that day and used those funds to fix my car. I would like to have the calls reviewed as **** sat there and insisted on collecting payment, making it seem like my account was OK. The way they spoke to me was not ok. Im a customer at the end of the day and they did not treat me with good customer service and attitude was triggered. Who likes the run around, lies, and a rep who just rebuttals and just fights off anything being said. Making excuses. So since the 3rd party claimed no payments were ever made I want a refund for all payments made, calls reviewed to see how **** handled my situation and the other person who I spoke to who didnt address me but come on the phone just to say how good of a rep **** is. I want a refund and terminate business with them. My payment history shouldnt of mattered if it did and I was canceled what was the reason for the constant calls. Info is misleading.
