  Awful company. Straight stole money. Luckily for me, I never had to use the warranty, but upon trying to cancel because I sold the vehicle, I've discovered there is no possible way to get coverage. I have emailed, called etc. NOTHING! You basically get a falsified warranty document supposedly outlining your coverages, which can never be applied to any repair. I made the mistake of not doing my research on this company. I am writing this review to hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else!! PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Someone is vacationing on an island right now with the money they've stolen from people over the years.

  No response whatsoever. I haven't even received acknowledgement to 4 emails dating back to March 26, 2025 requesting reimbursement on my vehicles repairs. They are very good and follow at selling you the policy, once the policy is purchased, communication stops. When emailing my sales representative it returns back as invalid email. No response from the claims email either.
  Hopefully they can make it right, so far very disappointed.

  Do not buy an auto warranty from Total Auto Protect. Complete fraud when you are unable to contact them for a claim. The sold me the warranty in Arizona and they are not authorized to do business in Arizona. Have filed complaints in Arizona and Delaware.

  Like other who pay for this insurance. I got scam too 4,100 gone down the drain. Please Please do not buy this insurance I wish I read the BBB review before I bought this. They have a fake review on there site making them look like a great company. But it's not they don't pay for nothing, they don't answer phone, they didn't give me back my refund since 8-15-2024. I'm currently going to file a lawsuit with Wilmington Authorities justice

  t they are a scam company and once they get your money. Contact stops. And it never gets restarted again. And you will never get your money back, I was hoping that wasn't true, but after 7 to 10 emails and 20 to 30 phone calls. And being on hold for hours and then it would hang up. I would say this if you were thinking about dealing with this company, call the number for claims or the number for customer service. And e-mail the info@totalautoprotect. They all come back with the same result. No answer. However, if you do a test with another number. An e-mail. To get a quote, they will call you by 15 minutes. To get the money out of you. But after they get the money, no phone calls back. Got a most likely fake cancellation department e-mail. cancelation@autotoprotect and I’m not sure how they can still operate and have a business also they operate on a website that they own so be very cautious it looks like the best and top auto companies list, but all the other companies top list never list them at all, But I owe the heads up to Premier Auto. They were so nice. Better Business Bureau credited. Super helpful. Then when I had to cancel with them there was no big deal at all. No issues again due to not buying the truck from the dealer. There is a lot of information and news articles. They go by many different names. And they usually use 501 for a suite. Or Unit 501. But make no mistake, it's all the same company. It's funny how they don't have a review page on their website at all where you can leave a review about them, but they have.. Here's some company info. I found a couple different things.   I have had nothing but exceptionally poor customer service from this company. I would recommend that nobody work with them ever!!!! They were quick to take payment and send out contracts, but they don't answer the phone on any of their extensions, they don't respond to emails. There is no mailing address on their website, only a phone number and email address. There is no live chat option on the website.

  This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. When buying their insurance, bells and whistles are promised. That's the only good thing you'll ever hear from them. The only reason I give them one star is that there is no way to leave none!!!
  
  For the past 5 days both the dealership an myself have sent emails, placed phone calls, left voice messages and nothing happens. They are unresponsive, deny claims that according to the contract are covered, refuse to pay the repair and even have the audacity, in one of the very few times they responded after several days of wait, to insist on sending an aftermarket part that wasn't even too expensive locally to begin with. My experience during the last 3 years has been plainly awful and had to cover on my own most of the repairs needed. Wish I had gone with any other company. Total Auto Protect is a nightmare!
  
  Dealerships and garages, (I have tried both) refuse to continue efforts to contact them as they never respond either emails or phone calls. Right now, while waiting for 45 minutes on the phone with no response, I decided to write this complaint. It won't amount to much. But if anyone is considering buying their coverage, please think twice. They are a FRAUD and it's hard to believe that with such dismal record they can keep operating their business.
  
  Shame on them! BUYER BEWARE!

  First time using this warranty and cannot get a whole of anyone via phone or email to approve repairs? The one time I did they told me they put a priority on the request that was over a week ago, Same as most of the other complaints. Requesting cancelation of contract page 18. Don't understand how they continue to operate.
  Do not use this company.

  Like many other customers I feel like I have been scammed as well. No one answers the calls for claims or even answers when you call the representative that sold me this policy in August of 2024. They never return calls or emails. This is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. My next step is to file this with the district attorneys office as well. Since I will have to pay out of pocket for my vehicle repair since no one answers the phone it has been two weeks of calling now.

  Like many other customers I was scammed by them, no refund and no approval of claims. I suggest everyone contact the Wilmington DE Attorney general fraud hotline.
