    My car was dropped off for body repairs and when I picked it up there was more problems than I dropped it off with. It took 5 times the estimated time to finish. They must have broke the passenger side mirror but replaced it with one that's not for my car. When they taped off the roof to paint the panel, they ripped off clear coat with the paint and did not fix it. I told them not to open the passenger side door due to the panels not aligning and they ignore the fact causing the door to have damage done to it. All interior panels were not put back correctly and some were broken. They refuse to fix any of this and won't return my calls. I would like to either get the problems fixed or get payment so I can get them fixed. I will gather photos and receipts and send them as well.

    To whom it may concern. We did have a Mr ***********s
    vehicle for a longer than usual amount of time. This vehicle should have been a
    total loss and the insurance company did not deem it so. We did have some time
    line issues between parts and insurance. He came back with a list of concerns
    which included a check engine light, taillight inoperable, roof peeling, body
    side moldings, an interior piece missing, hardware missing from right fender,
    and wrong right side mirror. Before picking up he was informed of a
    weatherstrip discontinued from VW that was ripped and we are unable to easily
    attain, which we are still working on finding. When he stopped by he was
    informed that once we find that part, we will have him come back, give him a
    rental and tend to the list of concerns. The only concerns that were deemed to
    be caused by Sheridan is the mirror glass, which we did break accidentally and
    replaced with the wrong glass unknowingly. The body side moldings which are
    also discontinued and should have been replaced will need to be removed and
    re-adhered to the vehicle. And lastly the weatherstrip which we have not been
    able to find anywhere. His concerns for the check engine were from his own
    engine modifications. The fender hardware was installed upon his last visit, as
    it was removed to be able to gain access to the passenger side of the vehicle
    during repairs, without damaging the misaligned fender and door. The taillight
    which was found to be burned out LED strip inside the light. The interior trim
    he had mentioned was found inside our detail bay and not installed into the
    vehicle after cleaning the interior, which we installed for him upon his last
    visit. Lastly was the roof peel, which after speaking with my painter he claims
    was not peeled from untapping the roof, if he had made that mistake we would
    have taken care of the paint peel before he had originally picked up the
    vehicle. We have not heard back from Mr ********** ever since he stopped by
    with these concerns, there has been no other contact via email or voicemail. We
    have still been under the impression he is waiting for us to locate the
    weatherstrip to get him back in to fix his concerns.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
    **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.
    They never offered to fix anything. I would like them to fix what they damaged, including the passenger door, interior pieces that weren't put back together, the roof paint, and the correct mirror. Also, the weather stripping wasn't discontinued. I called VW myself and they can order it. I refuse to pay for anything that they damaged. The body shop needs to make this right.
