    I am trying to get my 1099 mortgage interest paid for 2024 from this company. The company changed it's name to **********. ********** sent me a statement for 7/2024 but no one will send me a document for January 2024 to June.

    On May 1, 2024, Shellpoint Mortgage Servicings (**********) parent company acquired SLS, your prior mortgage servicer, and subsequently merged SLS into Shellpoint. 

    As mentioned in your complaint, your loan was transferred to RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing, LLC (RoundPoint) effective July 1, 2024. Although *** merged into **********, the loan was not officially boarded in our system. 

    Although the loan was not officially serviced by **********, a 1098 Form was generated on January 13, 2025, which is enclosed. In addition, we have enclosed the loans payment history, reflecting the payments submitted to *** from January 2024 through June 2024, the last payment made prior to the transfer was received on June 3, 2024. Enclosed is also a copy of the last Mortgage Statement dated June 3, 2024, which reflects the paid year to date interest was $4,989.94.
