After a total of 2 hours on the phone, being transferred to 11 people and cut off twice, I gave up. My brother-in-law had ******* in his name and died in February with all the information about the account. *** wanted to transfer the ** to her name since she still lived at the same address, but we did not have all the information he used to open the account. So, **** said the account must be cancelled and equipment returned. It was.They said we could then sign up for a new account, but when we tried to do that, were then told there was a "waiting period" to open a new account at that same address. Under the circumstances, that made no sense. But we had our mom wait, because we thought it would be easier to keep the same service, since she is 104 years old.I tried today, April 5, to open an account for her online and it still did not allow an account to be opened at the same address. So I started calling .The first person I spoke to thought someone could override it because of the circumstances. That made sense.But I was transferred over and over, speaking with one after the other who could not help and who soon started sending me back to the same departments.Surely in a circumstance like this, the service should be able to be continued, even if it means opening a new account at the same address. If none of the customer service departments or sales departments or any other department can help, who can?
