Have been trying to reach out to the President ****** through not only text messages but through phone call to his cell phone and even the office. Also have sent numerous emails. No return phone calls or emails. Trying to get a PV invertor and cell communication part replaced. Have been without solar for a month now.

Worse Experience Possible, DO NOT RECOMMEND SOPRIS SOLAR.Two years since handing over $30,000 plus dollars, system installation is still not completed.Damage to roof gutter from subcontractors, told "you'll have to take Sopris to court to resolve this" by lead installer.Told other customers having same issues, but they "paid me on the side" to get installation completed.President/Owner no longer making any attempt to complete installation per contract.Installation of panels had to be re done by lead installer for Sopris after sub contractors quit.Panels loose on roof, missing end caps, bolts not tightened correctly.Sopris Solar has refused to answer or return any calls to me at this point.I initiated a BBB complaint over 1 year ago, but unfortunately it seams they are unable to assist me in this issue.I DON'T UNDERSAND HOW SOPRIS CAN STILL BE AN ACCREDITED BUSINESS Next step looks to be me contacting the ******** ************************ for help.BEWARE, OWNER HAS A HISTORY OF THESE ISSUES AND HAS BEEN CONVICTED OF ID THEFT AND FORGERY out of ******.BBB Notes "BBB files indicate that Sopris Solar has a pattern of complaints concerning Billing, ************************** Refund, Repair and Service issues"

Don't recommend. KOAA News has several stories on how awful this company is. Panels went up in April of 2023. Still can't get them connected. Building Inspector has been to my house 3 times now and Sopris can't pass code. They can't seem to finish the job. Can't reach anyone other than the nice secretary. Amazingly every single time you call ****** or anyone else happens to be unavailable. I can't stress enough how much everyone should avoid this company

I strongly recommend NOT using this company. They missed the very first site appointment without so much as a phone call or a text. They had sent me an email saying my system had been ordered only to find out a month later the email was sent by mistake. Sopris needed to take more pictures and send us back through design/ engineering. Our solar panels were put on the house and we were told we needed an electrical panel upgrade to connect everything. Sopris was notified of this by the installers and us. Sopris told us they would do the upgrade and roll it into our loan. ****** spent the next two months trying to find a work around to upgrading the panel and told the bank the installation was complete. About a week before our first payment was due Sopris came out and did some sort of work around. Our electric company came out to turn it on and told us Sopris needs to install the electrical panel upgrade. For over two weeks we tried to get a hold of Sopris, no return emails, return calls, or texts. We called SunPower who subcontacted us to Sopris. Finally Sopris answered one of our calls and told us oh no, the electric company just needs to be shown what we did. We informed SunPower of this and Sopris finally came out to install the upgrade to the panel. They didn't have everything they needed and we were told they be back the next day to finish and the electric company would be out to turn everything on two days later. SunPower was called again after a week of no shows/ no calls by Sopris. Two weeks later Sopris finished the upgrade and informed us we just need the electric company to come out and turn us on. After 3 weeks of talking to ********, we were told we needed the work inspected again and the the electric company can come out. We were also told Sopris had to extend the permit because it expired. As of now my system is still not complete and I'm about to make the 3rd payment to the bank.

******,I wanted to clarify a couple of things here. We installed the system as per our engineered plans. We then passed the final inspection and the permit was closed by Jefferson County as passed and completed. When CORE energy finally came out, they told us that we need to install a sub-panel. We did install the sub-panel per their request and then contacted them to provide proof of the sub-panel installation. Then CORE told us that we need to get a second final inspection from Jefferson County. Because the permit was closed as completed and the final inspection passed, we needed to pull a separate permit for the sub-panel. We submitted a new permit request for this work in order to have the system go through another final inspection. The permit was approved and our Master Electrician is heading up right now to meet the inspector today for the re-inspection. Regarding any communication with SunPower Financing, we are paid out on a financed project in milestones. The first was passing the final inspection, which we did. The second is upon CORE Energy approving the system and giving you Permission to Operate. We have not been paid for the *** milestone. We want very much to be paid in full as you want very much your system to operate. We will update you once we get through the re-inspection today as planned.
