Terrible experience with the owners of this company took place August 10, 2024. It quickly became apparent on move day that they had grossly misinformed & falsely assured me of the space I would need...this despite doing a thorough walk-through with very specific *********************** from me about my circumstances & needs. On move day, the husband was called when it became clear the space needed was far from what they assured me I'd need or came prepared with. He proceeded to deny everything they had said during walk-through & fabricated things never said. I stood up to his ********* became argumentative, extremely disrespectful, condescending, & made personal disparaging remarks about my character. I am a 67 year old single woman & was shocked by his blatant gaslighting behavior towards me. I finally had to order him to leave my home. I have witness evidence of the entire exchange as well as recorded proof of everything I ever discussed with them along with their responses.In retaliation, he ordered his crew to unload the truck mid job, leaving me high & dry. I had to leave for ********, so my household belongings had to be left behind. As of this date, I still don't have my belongings.In looking through all internet reviews more thoroughly, I discovered the good reviews were primarily regarding their employees, who were indeed awesome. I also found most of the negative reviews involved the owners, the problems they were responsible for, & how they handled those problems. I even found a couple of reviews that were almost identical to my experience...a proven pattern of dishonest, bad behavior. Because of their unacceptable and unprofessional actions, I am now having to incur additional costs and aggravation in going back to ******** to hire and oversee moving for a second time. I should be compensated for these additional costs.Business Response

We did an onsite estimate for ******* 5 wks before her moving date. We told her she wouldn't fit into 1 truck. She assured us that she was selling a lot bc she didn't need it at the new address and ALSO that she had reserved 2 pods for the overflow. We offered to use our trailer as a 2nd truck bc it was bigger than the 2 pods she reserved. We made her a very generous 'time sensitive' offer bc that trailer would get booked up, and it did! She refused our offer. We also told her if she needed us to load her 2 pods, that she needed to schedule that crew 1-2 wks in advance, $165/hour (2 man crew). She refused that suggestion also. On the day of her move we showed up as contracted, on time with labor(4 men) and 1- 26' truck fully equipped. She had a tiny uhaul container on the driveway when we arrived. She had sold almost nothing and wasn't going to fit. She expected our crew (4 guys) to load her container at no charge saying "we were already there anyway". ***** went to the jobsite to assess what was going on and was met with raw hatred. ***** suggested again that we could do another truck but she was angered that we were going to charge her for the additional truck saying "it was our responsibility to get everything". ***** remained calm, professional and polite (I have video)as she became belligerent, screaming at him, calling him a liar and a sleazy businessman, refusing to let him talk and ordered us off her property. ***** told the crew to unload the truck and 'respectfully' place everything exactly where they had found it. We issued her a FULL refund for the *** we had collected. We paid our crew over $700 in labor that day and did not seek payment from her for breach of contract. However, she then tried to bribe our guys to come back on their own time. This is our business. This is what we do. We try to give everyone our expert advice. She refused all of our suggestions. I am rejecting this response because: once again, lies. I have witness account as well as recorded proof of our discussions and everything they told me...proving their lies. Other reviews substantiate their pattern of behavior. If leaving honest reviews of their aggregious unprofessional behavior is harassment, then so be it.

May of 2021, ********* Moving was contracted to pack, move to storage and eventually move to *****. We packed May 4 and moved Les's belongings into 2- 10x20 storage units. Units H-24 & K-30. August of 2021, we moved Les to *****. Nearly one year later, July of *************************** to say he was sending over a list of damages and missing items. We called Les July 15 to address his concerns. He immediately started accusing me, personally of stealing his father's shadow box and delivering someone elses lawn mower. We assured him that we DON'T combine households. We DON'T combine storage units. We DON'T make other stops along the way. We do designated moves for every customer. We explained that our contract states to bring up any issues within 3 days. After he hung up on me, I texted him to say that I would gladly take a lie detector test.

I am rejecting this response because: they are not telling the whole Truth , the female part owner I spoke to her "way before the time that they spoke to me together" and ***** stated that it was very normal to get phone calls or claims after the move , (no time limit was mentioned) she stated for me to get list to her and I did, she packed my father's shadow box herself, the company is not willing to own up to their mistake ,explain how and why I HAVE SOMEBODY ELSE'S LAWNMOVER ,NOT MINE AND WHERE THE **** IS MY FATHERS SHADOW BOX. this is not over I will conitine until this is taken care of , I will be placing ads in the local newspaper stating this about this company nothing is false about this claim period. that is the facts I have nothing to gain about not having my fath'ers shadow box. I am very well-organized to include the areas where items were PACKED period. just own up to it period ,

I TOLD LES THAT PEOPLE WHO HAVE SAID THEY CAN'T FIND THEIR MISSING ***** ALWAYS CALL ME BACK TO SAY THEY FOUND THEM. I NEVER SAID IT WAS OK TO SEND ME A LIST NEARLY A YEAR AFTER THE MOVE. OUR CONTRACT SAYS TO CONTACT US WITHIN 3 DAYS. WE STOOD IN YOUR GARAGE IN ********* AND ASKED IF WE HAD EVERYTHING.
WE NEVER COMBINE LOADS WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS! THE ***** WE PICKED UP ARE THE SAME ***** WE DELIVERED.
AND WE WERE TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS WITH YOU UNTIL YOU HUNG UP ON US. WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU WANT FROM US A YEAR AFTER WE MOVED YOU? WE TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF OUR CUSTOMERS. WE TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF YOU ! AND NOW A YEAR LATER YOU ARE ATTACKING US. HOW DO I PROVE I DIDN'T DO SOMETHING THAT I DIDN'T DO?!

I am rejecting this response because: you mentioned that you have no responses after final unpacking we spoke a few times, after the delivery when we spoke, I mentioned that I would send you a list (you said). you received the list of items that were missing or broke...you are correct that I did hang up on you, after all we got heated and you went crazy, and you mentioned what kind of med's am I taking, you were rude ,unprof , etc you know it and I know it. I've reached out to you several times with no reply. all I would like is very simple, replace or fix items that are missing or broke I 'm going to continue to try and locate my father's shadow box (newspaper ad,etc , **** shops) and whatever else I need to do. you packed it, never received it, but like I mentioned before received items that were not mine you can't say that you have never lost or broken items in your whole business time. I just want to resolve this issue once and for all. and move on from this. (I can send you the company's name, website, cost to replace, my parents gave me the collectables, other items are from home depo. and I can even send you back the item that do not belong to us, just in case somebody is looking for it.
