We received an unsolicited phone call on 6/18/25 asking about our kitchen printers. Nothing was ordered and then we received a box of kitchen printer ribbons. Then we received an invoice for $135.67, including insurance of $15.87. The employee listed on the invoice is not the name of anyone that works here. This invoice needs to be deleted and any future shipments and billing needs to cease. We did not order or ask this business for anything. This is a scam and we are not complying with their solicitation of payment.Business Response

Triton Imaging Systems solicited a phone call asking for a managers name and the model number of our printers. They then told us that they would be shipping a case of printer ribbon.
A few weeks later a case off printer ribbin shows up with an invoice.
We did not place a purchase order with this company. The company fabricated a purchase order.
We called the number on the invoice and left a message to call back as we have questions about an invoice.
A person from accounts payable & customer service returned the call. Their stated name was A***** *****. They refused to let me speak to a supervisor or speak to a person from the sales department. They insist that we provided information and gave authorization to create a purchase order. After asking for a good email (which they never provided) to contact them, and insisting that they are practicing unfair buisness practices, the person hung up.Initial Complaint

I received an invoice for 135.67 of some printer ink cartridges supposedly ordered by one of my employees. Called their customer service because the employee states she did not order this item and just gave them the part number for our printer. Customer service said she did order and that the sales and shipping department both spoke with her. I asked for transcripts of the conversation and she refused citing privacy issues but offered to send proof of delivery. Proof of delivery is not proof of ordering something. I asked to speak with someone else and she said she was the person handling my complaint. Obvious scam taking advantage of the chaos of the restaurant industry.Business Response

On 5/19/2025 I have received an unsolicited invoice from Triton Imaging Systems in the amount of $135.67. Neither I nor anyone in my department has ever ordered anything from this company. The individual they claim placed the order does not have purchasing authority, does not place orders for our operation, and has never heard of Triton Imaging Systems.
This appears to be a fraudulent or deceptive billing practice, and I am requesting that this invoice be voided and that no further attempts at billing or contact be made. We will not remit payment for a product that was neither requested nor received.
Please assist in filing a formal complaint and investigating this matter, as we consider this an attempt to solicit unauthorized payment through misrepresentation.Business Response

We received a call on 3/13/25 from Triton Imaging Systems inquiring about the model number of our printer. Unfortunately, a staff member answered the call and did not realize that this was a deceptive inquiry. Subsequently, we received a package that we did not order, followed by an invoice for $217.55 for that product. We use an approved company for any printer supplies we may need. Triton called inquiring about payment and was told that we do not pay for invoices without an approved PO. They requested a return of their product, but never supplied a shipping label. Also, the information on the ribbon packaging that we received does not match the information on the packing slip/invoice.Business Response

I received an invoice from Triton Imaging Systems for what appears to be printer ribbon for our
restaurant kitchen. The price of the ribbon on the invoice is $135.67 & says that one of our servers ordered it verbally. Since we order all ribbons through Amazon, & our servers never do our ordering so we were confused as to why we would receive an invoice, with our servers name on it, Also, all of the products we order for the restaurant are with a credit card & we do not request to be invoiced. As I began to do my research, I see that several people have been scammed by Triton Imaging Systems & have written online about it. All have been billed for products they did not order or receive & told that an employee from their company ordered the product when they didn't. There is also another similar complaint here on the Better Business Bureau that was just posted 3/18/25 and this person was billed the same dollar amount as our company for the same items & they have the same complaint as we do. I received an invoice at our restaurant for "RIB CART EPSON M188B B/R" for $135.67 we never received this item nor did we order it. This invoice was mistakenly paid by a new admin in training. I tried contacting the company, no one answers the phone or will call me back. I want a refund. After doing some internet research I learned this is a common scam this company does.
