Transparency and honesty are what I and most consumers value most. Big O Tires of Walnut Creek failed on both. Got new tires done. Came in to pick them up at the time they said they would be ready. Turns out they needed another 20 minutes. Not that big of a deal, just annoying. What is a big deal is telling me as I was there to pick it up that it would actually be an extra $20 from what we agreed to when I dropped off the car. The reason was something that sounded made up about my type of car costing more, even though the guy walked out to look at my type of car before. I don't care about the extra cost, it just felt dirty. What was I supposed to do at that point? Say no, take the tires off my car? The kicker came when I was told "looks like they didn't do an alignment. Come back tomorrow and we can do it for $129, normally $159." Is my car even safe to drive? Did you just throw the tires on there without aligning them? If this was something I needed but not included then again, just tell me upfront. Don't charge me extra money, then waste my time and more money by making me come back again for something that should have been done when you put on the tires. I am going to my regular mechanic to ask them to fix it. I'm not giving this place another cent. Poor business practices.
