    Transaction/purchasing date - 10/30/2023 Amount - $130.70 Bazaar sold expired on 9/30/2023 chilly sauce. I noticed the date on the same evening and called business. I spoke to a manager named *****. ***** told me over the phone to throw the sauce away, and the next time I go to his store, he will give me credit.I went back on 11/1/2023. I collected the items I needed to buy, including the Chilly Sauce. I couldn't see the brand I previously purchased, so I grabbed a different brand. I read the expiry date on it and asked the same manager if they had not received the new one yet because this sauce also expired on 9/30/2023.The manager said, "No way this sauce is expired because they removed all of them already. Then I said, "You guys can't see, or am I reading the wrong date? " He walked towards me, grabbed the sauce from my hand, read the date, and started saying that I disrespected him. I am like, how? Is this sauce expired? He didn't answer my question, talking over me, and wasn't letting me talk about the sauce. He also made the comment that he was going to talk to my husband and complain. I left the store because I didn't appreciate him talking over and not listening to the right customer.At that store, they sell more expired items. We have noticed them before. They either cover the date with a black Sharpie.I strongly recommend looking into this matter about selling expired grocery items and about rude behavior toward customers.The store does have video cameras.
