Absolutely terrible service. Be careful because they send salespeople to your door, promising you a set price and roof replacements to pass the roof inspection. In the end, they charge you through third-party companies, falsifying your signatures.Whats worse is that they use customers personal information to obtain permits from the county. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes, and afterward, no one answers your calls they only send you bills for services you havent even *********** very careful with this company! ESPESP

*****, we attempted to resolve this concern but unfortunately because you canceled your project before we were able to initiate any electrical work, we cannot assist you further at this time. You opted to use a roofer who is not affiliated with ESP, and so we have limited recourse to investigate what you're referring to as far as third party billing. We take allegations of fraudulent signatures very seriously, but you have not offered us the opportunity to aid you in getting to the bottom of this, and we're sorry that we can't work with you further to prevent this from happening in the future.Review fromB. We have had panels on our roof for 3 months and they still aren't functional! Our sales person said we were getting two batteries and we only got one. After I complained to her, it all went down hill. We called a few times and was told our project manager would be in touch within 48 hours, but the very next call we made they said they don't have record of us. Now when we call it goes straight to voicemail. Absolutely a nightmare! I want them off my roof, but I'm sure they won't pay to fix the damage!!! Stay far away from this company! And avoid any sales person named April who tries to sell this to you!ESP

ESP has the absolute worst customer ********************** Ive ever encountered, which is especially infuriating because the system they installed barely worksand to make matters worse, I had to start paying for it before it was even operational. Adding insult to injury, the breaker they installed was not up to code, and they knew it, yet they proceeded anyway, leaving me with a system thats both nonfunctional and unsafe. From the moment I reported issues, I was met with radio silence. Every time Ive called, they had no answers for my questions, no timeline for repairs, and no sense of accountability. Every interaction felt like they were doing me a favor by even acknowledging my existence, and they often passed me between departments just to get rid of me. Despite countless follow-ups, my system still isnt functioning properly, and no one seems to care. Their so-called support team is nothing more than a black hole where customer complaints go to die. Dealing with this company has been an endless cycle of frustration, and I wouldnt wish this nightmare on anyone. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and pursuing legal action to hold them accountable. Stay far away.ESP

We are very sorry you had this experience. We have confirmed that the system is fully functional and that all corrections required by the lender have been addressed. To clarify, the breaker that was installed required additional settings to be considered properly configured, but was not preventing your system from functioning safely. ESP hires subcontractors in our area. When they came out the first day, they came in a rented truck with no identification. They worked half the day only to say they could not finish and left. The next day another team came and started work. This team hit a power line in the wall and set our house on fire. Every fire engine in the city came. The plans were wrong and had to be redone. Now we are a month from the initial installation and we are still waiting. Almost zero communication. It is almost impossible to get any information from them. They always say that my *** will call me but they never do.ESP

*****, we sincerely apologize for the delays and the incident at your home. While we strive to work only with the highest quality service partners, sometimes mistakes happen, and in this instance the management of our subcontractor met with you and you agreed on arrangements to have the damages to the interior wall and insulation repaired. Our project manager also personally reached out apologizing for the experience. We have not heard back from you about anything further related to this incident since then, though we have been in communication with you about the project. Regarding the plans and permitting, it appears there was a misunderstanding about which battery model and quantity you originally signed for when we arrived to complete the installation, so we completed the redraw and permits were resubmitted on 9/23. We will promptly reach back out to schedule the installation once we receive the approval from the city. We appreciate the chance to work on this with you. Very dissatisfied. Customer ********************** is incompetent and slow. They messed up my meter aggregation which i informed them of 6 months ago. Many angry emails later and nothing. They refuse to provide any information to me. I even have a guy named ********************* working on the issue. He said he is in the legal department and gets involved when customers talk about getting legal representation. All he does is send messages to the person assigned to my project. Nothing ever comes of it. Also, I've had two panels go bad already. They were replaced under warranty (eventually), but the system that allegedly monitors my production didn't identify it. I had to let them know about it. Don't bother buying their monitoring system because it doesn't work.ESP

We're very sorry for the frustrating experience. Our Utilities manager spoke with you and explained the current situation. Up to this point there's unfortunately been a lot of miscommunication with which meter you wanted as the generating vs aggregate load. We have now resolved that issue and resubmitted a new application with the updated meters and aggregated documents. You do now also have a direct line of contact to the Utilities manager should you need anything else. Now we just need PG&E to approve the new application. Again we sincerely apologize - this is a complex process even when it goes smoothly, but we hope to make up for the poor experience.Review fromFrances G

ESP nos minti e instalo un sistema solar sin batera despus ******** 15, 2023. Sus vendedores ****** y **** nos prometieron que no volveramos a tener una factura de SCE y otro vendedor de otra compaa nos explic que esto no es cierto. Nosotros no sabemos leer ingls y por ende no pudimos entender sus promesas. Confiamos en su palabra. Tenemos una factura altsima con ****** y un pago por los paneles que no podemos pagar. Vamos a tomar medidas drsticas en contra de ESP si no solucionan este problema. Estamos en bsqueda de un abogado.ESP

The sales reps do not work directly for Energy Service Partners, but we have connected with their management to get in touch and find out where there may have been a discrepancy in what was communicated to you about the project. We confirmed that the system is producing but has only been fully operational since October, which means that you may not have seen the full benefits of the electricity offset on your bill due to shorter days and weather during this time of year. I had been initially told when I signed up for solar that it would be completed within 3 months. I was also told that any payments that I made on the loan would be reimbursed for those months I went without solar. I made payments starting in January and my solar just got finalized in July. That is 7 months of ****** bills and loan payments that Ive made. I called the company multiple times asking for the refund and was told they could refund me once my solar is finalized. The day came once my solar was completed and I called in asking for my refund reimbursement. I received an email from *************************** denying my request for reimbursement stating that I did not qualify because the delay was not on ESP but on ******. This is a lie. I had a delay from ESP because they failed to install a part on my main panel which made my first inspection fail. They had to reschedule inspection out for another month. Regardless of ****** reasoning I was still promised a reimbursement. Why should I be paying a loan for all these months and not be able to use my product? Thats outrageous business practice and I was lied to over and over with promises that Id receive that money back. Ive essentially had to pay 2 electric bills for 7 months which has been financially impossible. This is one of many issues with the company. Im also showing my solar is now operable however its under a completely different name than mine! And ****** is still showing Im going to be charged! Again paying two electric bills. To top it off I wrote ***** to help resolve this issue and he hasnt responded in weeks. I called in to ESP and was told ***** couldnt take any calls and that I had to email him to get a response. That was another lie and its been bad business all around.ESP
