I am filing a complaint against Snap Inc. for wrongfully and knowingly banning my Snapchat account. On March 11th, of 2024, Snap. *** wrongfully permanently restricted my access to a Snapchat account I have been using for the last 7 years. I was told that I violated their community guidelines regarding to the Prohibited Drug Policy. What they are referring to, is a photo of adderall posted on my private story, with a few close friends. Here are the details of the case. I was recently prescribed adderall instead of Vyvanse, the medication I had been taking prior for my Attention Deficit Disorder. I posted a photo on my private story, once again, with a few close friends, to inform them of my medicine change. However, just a few minutes after posting that, I was permanently banned from Snapchat on my account and device. It is completely ridiculous that I was banned originally, but it is even more ridiculous how their customer service has worked in this case. ********************** claims that all appeals will be reviewed within ***** hours, yet its been almost 60 hours for me, and no word. Along with this, despite the hundreds of messages I have sent either via Snapchats website, or through email, Snapchat has disregarded and ducked all of the chats I have sent. I wish I could view the photo I posted and put it here, but unfortunately Snapchat will not let me login. Along with this, Snapchat has charged me monthly for the premium service, which I was okay with, but now, I would like to be refunded if my account will not be unbanned.
