1 starTOTAL CROOKS I bought an expensive domain and they are already setting it up to resell. They have asked me to renew the domain with them for another year, but it has taken me a year to transfer the domain out to my host. CROOKSReview fromJim B

1 starDynadot programmers have written code that scrapes the search page for trademarks at the ********* site. They simply add one to the last known filed patent and find out what was just filed. They instantly grab the matching domain and anything else like it. Since US Trademark numbers are in numerical order, they are making tons of money as a predator. This is illegal in a couple of ways. The ** should charge them with a crime. The ***** should open an investigation and the trademark office should put a ******* on their website!!! They grabbed my $0.01 website 2 minutes after I filed a trademark on a 3-word domain name and repriced it as premium for > $2500.Review fromJiivanii R

1 starA few days ago I contacted Dynadot, with who I had several domains registered n wanted to reregister. I spoke with one of the chat agents, who after a long wait, informed me that 3 of my domains were reregistered by other agents. She suggested that I sought them out and buy back my domains. My response to her was: "You mean that my domains were stolen?" She retorted saying that if I don't reregister my domains they will be placed on the web for sale. Apparently that is a mode of opperation by registrars. Our domains, then become their property to be disposed of as if we are paying rent and have left our goods behind; all they need to do is delete them. Instead; they steal the domain names for resale back to the previous owners. Extortion?Further; I found that the domains were registered with them. One of the domains she claimed was taken was still available, & I quickly registered with NameCheap. I then reregistered the remaining domains with namecheap.Yesterday I got hosting service. I am ready to setup my site with the remaining domain left on Dynadot.com, only to see that my account domain has a padlock on it. The only time a padlock goes on a domain in an account is when it is too close to the expiry date, which then forces the account holder to reregister with the company, before it can be moved. I was NOT even able to update my account information in my own account. I read that since 2023 accounts were updated to change security information. We must use the month and day of birth. I did so, it was rejected. The next step was to reset. Then; I am asked a secret question. I had no idea there was a secret question, when I signed up, I answered anyway. It was wrong. I recorded and have all my login information. Then they asked me to provide a gov issued ID. I responded; NOT OVER MY DEAD BODY. They took my money for renewal about 2 months & never asked for that security clearance. Now; to point the domain to the host, they stopped it! Surely its not personal.Review fromErnest L

1 starTerrible business practices, I had to contact their local Attorney General, ICANN, and the **** Below is my issue with Dynadot, LLC.I am not getting anywhere with this company, Dynadot, LLC (a San Mateo County Business) that I can not use my emails, so this is the email I have to use. All my websites registered at the Dynadot registrar redirect to **** sites. It appears Dynadot has been compromised (along with my account) USERNAME: WEBREGIT. I have been locked out of the account and we need to get this fixed. All my bills and business correspondences are used with the Dynadot DNS pointing system. These are family oriented websites I run, and here are just a few of my websites that have been compromised - (too many to list) registered at Dynadot (see attached screenshot). * Please note, links are graphic! It has been going on for weeks, but just recently had my account disabled. This just isn't right nor ethical and has been going on long enough. I need to change to a more secure registrar and Dynadot is not allowing it. I have tried numerous times to get this rectified, to no avail.Review fromTED C

5 starsDynadot One Of The Best!Dynadot registrar is probably One Of The Best in this field, as a veteran +20 years experiences buying managing several domain names with many different registrars i am taking anyone who has a different view on this review...1/ The first point is their high CS efficiency via their direct contact application to respond quickly and kindly 24/7. The team Tech (each individual person is absolutely devoted, and will do their best to find out how to solve any common problem, which are mostly known as DNS records for domains...2/ Their unit prices range are always ones of the best in the field, even without promo entry code which makes them on the top list for the top-level domain (TDL) extension best prices and it is the same for the renewals time. In our case we experienced a lot of time and energy spent to save $$$ with previous registrars just because they were charging much too high at renewal domains birthday date.3/ Dynadot package of advantages: when buying domain at Dynadot you get full options to manage your domain all included. The setup platform is precise convenient easy and offer all the techs needed to manage correctly and protect your assets. If anyone have doubts they can directly contact me, with all do respect when i read on bbb dot org such negative customer reviews about ********************, most filled with absolute non sense BS, i find it just ridiculous! 1 starTotal scam company - avoid like the plague - the worst registrar. The management team is nowhere to be found and issues are handled through a black hole of *********** support. They are fraudulently listing domains for sale that are not for sale and verifying that the domains are for sale when in fact they are not. Then holding funds hostage while lying about receiving the funds and returning them.As much as it pains me to say this, you're better off going to ******* then working with this scam company that has garbage software.Review fromDANIEL A

1 starJust won a domain auction with them. In order to participate in the auction I had to add money to my account (PrePay). I used a credit card. I won the auction. Paid the auction using ApplePay. The domain was transferred to my account. In the account I had 2 orders now -the order for the auction and the PrePay order. Then I received an email asking for additional verification - to send them several photos of myself, my driver license and my credit card???? I contacted them via live chat and asked if the verification is for the prepay order or for the domain auction. The support responded that the verification is for the PrePay order. At this point I did not care as I did not need to have money sitting in the account and also did not want to provide them with so much personal information. The point was to keep the domain. Later on they cancelled both orders and removed the domain from my account. Wasted my time. Wish I had read the reviews provided here before engaging in business with this company! Very unclear and shady communication with the customer, considering that I could pay them with a wire transfer too!!!Review fromKissmy A
