    As a tenant of apartments in ************* for over five years, I can confidently say that Real Management Company is the worst and most unprofessional property management company I have dealt with. First, they are incredibly slow to respond to emergency maintenance issues. At my property, ***********************, they installed a fire alarm system back in April 2023. On August 23, 2023, this system was out of service, and I notified them accordingly. It took RMC several days for this system to be serviced and fixed, putting all units at risk in the event of a fire. They have also been slow to respond to security concerns regarding one of the access doors to the garage and front door.While their maintenance responsiveness needs improvement, their billing is deceptive and exploitive. I have had autopay for my unit with RMC since they assumed management responsibility from *********** in 2022. In October 2023, they surprisingly back charged my autopay for two months of tenant liability insurance, even though I have had this coverage through my renters insurance since being a tenant. When my bank agreed this charge was an error and reversed it, RMC then levied a $35 returned check charge. Even the ************************ agreed this was deceptive and recommended I file a petition through them.It is unfortunate that RMC assumed management of my unit at ***********************, since the previous management company, ***********, was fantastic. If you are considering renting through them, I highly suggest you look elsewhere.
