I was charged by Formswift for a subscription I have tried to cancel multiple times. The formswift site gives specific instructions on how to cancel a subscription but the options they list do not exist on their site as stated. This seems like a very shady business practice that preys upon consumers to pay for services they do not wish to continue. I am requesting a full refund of the recent charge to my banking account and full cancellation of any subscription. When I followed the sites cancel subscription process it only gave the the option to renew. Its a horrible business practice and needs to be stopped immediately.Business Response

I went onto swiftform website for 1 form back in early 2022 and they have been billing me monthly up thru 2023. I didnt notice the monthly charge until now and have had charges for construction materials that run up into the tens of thousands of dollars at times and hundreds of transactions. At the point of transaction I assumed the charge was a one time purchase and they have deceptively set up their website point of purchase to convey that situation. No where was their policy obviously spelled out but rather it was buried back in a terms section.This is fraud - an intentional scam to deceive for monetary gain.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:your company has been taking money monthly from 2022 til now, I cant accept the $74 refund you just agreed to give it back to me.
I believe your company using dishonest methods to lure people give out their credit card information so you can charge us under the so called subscription service every month without us even realizing.
Dont tell me the terms and services of I have to cancel within 30 days to get my refund when I didnt even know your company has forced me to enter the subscription it is illegal, it is fraud, everyone that has been put into this fraud act by formswift should have a class action lawsuit against your company. You have wasted peoples time and money not to mention the emotional distress.
Fraud in the inducement occurs when a person tricks another person into signing an agreement to one's disadvantage by using fraudulent statements and representations. Because fraud negates the meeting of the minds required of a contract, the injured party can seek damages or terminate the contract.Your company has been taking money from my credit card since 2022, I was lucky enough to check my credit card statements because I just came back from a trip.
I am rejecting this response because: While I appreciate their 6 charge reversals, the ***************** of entry on their website is deceptive in that I was lead to believe it was a one time purchase - just like I was purchasing something on Amazon - and when executing the purchase (pulling the trigger) there is no obvious mention of signing up for a continued monthly subscription...who the heck would do that for a single form?........if it is mentioned , as they say in their terms and conditions and a confirmation email

We understand that you are requesting additional refunds. Per section 7 of our terms of service, we can only refund customers within the first 30 days. However, as a courtesy, we have already issued you two refunds. It is the maximum refund we can issue.

I was fully unaware that this charge was happening month over month. This is because this charge was happening on a card held under my mothers account. I used this service to make one document and have been billed north of $500 - does that seem reasonable to you? The only reason why I was made aware of this charge was when my elderly mother had recently inquired about it. Trying to print out a free duarable power of attorney. Then I realize the free has a subscription fee, which was fine. I planned on canelling my subscription after I printed the papers I needed. I signed up for a 30-day free trial. I canceled my trial immediately after I completed the one form I needed to do. But there is absolutely no way to remove the payment information myself. So I called the Tech Support line. While trying to explain the situation, the customer service rep ******************************* began getting frustrated and yelling over me. Telling me that I can't take the payment information off. I asked to speak to a manager and I was hung up on. I called back and got a different Rep. on the phone who told me it would take up to 60 days for the payment info to be removed. This is alarming because most businesses allow you to take it off yourself, immediately. I have still received no contact from a Supervisor and my payment info is still in their system.
