    I reluctantly switched to Dentegra dental insurance a few months ago despite virtually non existent customer support last time. They tried to bill me for an additional 2 months and did not give me the option to pay what I actually owe instead. I contacted support about it but it was not resolved. I just got a letter in the mail that my insurance is canceled for non payment, despite me asking for help paying for it. I WAS GIVEN NO WARNING, they simply cut off my insurance which can be devastating nowadays. This is similar to what they did to me last time. This company can not be trusted.I had them years ago and there was an error on their website that did not allow me to pay. I spent probably 6 hours on the phone trying to reach someone who could do something but was transferred to a dozen people including to a company that had literally nothing to do with the company. They ignored DOZENS of emails and canceled my insurance back then too. This happened because they don't process payments reliably. When I finally got ahold of someone high up they lied about the situation and told me I needed to make back payments. After I told them about evidence I had that they were lying, my bill suddenly was waived and they ceased communications. ******************.

    Purchased coverage with Dentegra through ******. I was meticulous to read the fine print, as I know there are certain perimeters that coverages have about wait periods and paying in for awhile. I was surprised when this plan with Dentegra claimed to have NO wait period, and immediate co-pay style coverage. I understood that the cleanings I needed were beyond basic care, and that is why I sought a plan that had SOME kind of coverage for that. The information on the ****** website for this plan stated Immediate coverage, no waiting, and gave every co-pay to be expected. Most of which for me was 50/50. Went to a new dentist, verified with that dentist they accept this plan, and that they cover my needs. This dentist even called Dentegra to verify that my anticipated treatment would be covered on a 50/50, as anticipated. They CONFIRMED THIS with my dentist! DENTEGRA CONFIRMED COVERED ON THE PHONE WITH MY *********** being told they will not cover their portion, and I'm on the hook for an additional $2200. The policy on their website now says coverage has a wait period, but that is NOT what it said on ****** when coverage was purchased. This is BAIT AND SWITCH. I read everything, and went above and beyond to ensure I was indeed covered. You need to provide correct information to your marketplaces, and in my instance, you need to cover the rightful costs. I already paid my 50%, my premiums, and co-pays.

    We signed my five-year-old son up for a Dentegra dental plan through the ********* Health Insurance website, to start at the beginning of 2023. We paid them three months of premiums ($21.05 each month for a total of $63.15). The payments were made on 12/22 (through our bank), 1/17 (HSA), and 2/18 (HSA). When I went to make my son a dentist appointment toward the end of February, I realized that the Dentegra plan we'd been paying for does not cover a SINGLE dentist in our area. We were paying premiums to have ZERO coverage. I contacted Dentegra half a dozen times and was eventually told I needed to submit a claim through writing. I did so then was denied my claim because it was made "too late." I canceled the policy immediately upon realizing this at the start of March 2023. Dentegra sent me a refund of $16.98 for the remainder of March's premium. All in all, we paid them $46.17 (63.15-16.98) for 100% unusable services. I want my money back.

    My retirement comes with medical that picks up what ******** does not, plus RX, eye exams, glasses, and dental, The dental changed over a year ago to Dentegra ( old dental was not great but I always got some money back) Dentegra I called to get a Dentist, I was given list after list for more than 6 month ( I am in *****, and no one takes that insurance, and was told to use who I wanted) I paid the dental bill in full, and mailed the bill out. No money called they wanted one more piece of paper, every time I call one more thing, was never given a list it was just one thing for months, and months. Dentist gave me every piece of paper that had (the last request was a W9 form) and the Dentist said no he was afraid they would sign him up as a provider. GA is where I send my bills.They have huge profits because they no not pay. Head Quarters for ** is in ********** organization type Foreign Profit . Corporate head Quarters ***** *****
