I want to say there customer service is very unprofessional and won't answer chats in a timely matter waited days to get responses or never get one at all

My email was used to make a purchase through ******* using 2 different credit cards, paid off within 8 minutes of the purchase. I did not create the accounts or make the purchase. I was able to cancel the purchase and contacted both ******* and Afterpay to alert them of a potential fraud situation. ******* took this very seriously and flagged my email address for the future for potential fraud. Afterpay responded with form emails. When escalated to a "specialized team" the person responding to the emails, despite having my information and complaint, called me by the fraudulent name used on the account (despite me signing my emails and complaint with my real name) and claimed my info was used for a purchase from "*******." They lied about attempting to call me, and they lied stating they would be calling me again later. I received neither call, nor any voicemails. They dismissed the issue as "usually a typo" twice, and indicated they would remove my email from their system. I am now receiving marketing emails from their company, in a name that isn't mine, for this fraudulent account. Their customer support team clearly doesn't even read complaints and relies on form letters to respond to anyone who reaches out, and since you can't call them you are stuck in this email chain with multiple people replying (3 people replied, for a total of 4 emails) and not a single one of them is able to comprehensively address your issue. I always thought this company was shady considering how they popped up and you can use them for even the smallest purchases, but now I'm positive that they literally don't care what you're using their service for, they just want money and will not bother to help protect consumers from potential fraud.Afterpay, Inc.

I have had after pay for 2 years and have never been approved for any order, I have a 600 dollar spending limit, I realize they dont approve every order, but they are yet to approve me for one. Everytime I message them I get the same response, I dont know how they stay in buisness.Afterpay, Inc.

Worst experience ever. Will not give refunds on merchandise purchased/cancelled. I opted for payments for my budget but when I cancelled a few items in my order they kept all the money , first said spread it to future payments,then said I was issued a refund to my bank.....none of this was true. Good to use if you never expect to refund something I guess......terrible customer service.Afterpay, Inc.

I would put a zero if possible- i have sent iver 7 messages over the last two weeks was promised a call from a 254 number and I to date have not been called- The website did not allow me to log on without sending me a code via text or email- well could not send it either way due to a problem with site- I not only tried on my cell but also on 2 different computers- yet- I keep getting texts that my payment is overdue- YES I have not been able to change payment method! Do not recommendAfterpay, Inc.

I had to make a return and Afterpay adjusted my payments. They said I might be charged twice on one day if they didnt process the return before the due date. The return was processed and I was still charged twice on one day. I reached out multiple times via chat, and they basically gave me generic answers and didnt address my concerns. ******** customer service.Afterpay, Inc.

The platform afterpay is the worse payment plans platform. The problem with afterpay there is no customer service. The customer service from ******************** is none existent. I'm having issues making my payments. First afterpay blocked my debit card. So I started paying them directly from my bank account. Now my bank account is also blocked. I cannot make any payment. I called my bank and they told me there is no issues with my debit card. So the issue is from afterpay directly. I haven't been able to get in contact with customer service. When I do get someone all they tell me someone will call you in 24 hours. But however no one ******* very frustrating as soon as I find a way to make a full payment. I will delete the account is not worth the headache.Afterpay, Inc.
