I applied for a AAA credit card issued through Comenity. My credit score at *********** and Experion is @ 800,Sagestream rated me at 474 and credit was denied. This number was apparently generated using magical thinking and not based on fact. This will have a negative effect on any future credit requests I may make in the future.

I previously wrote SageStream LLC asking you to investigate and verity a bankruptcy listed on my credit report. The response I received was the bankruptcy was verified with the bankruptcy court. I recently contacted the courthouse and verified their release policy information. The court told me that they don't give ANY credit bureau ANY information about ANY bankruptcy case. It's obvious that someone from SageStream LLC lied about verifying this bankruptcy. This is a violation of the ***** It's also a violation to report unverifiable information on a credit report, so I demand that you remove the following bankruptcy from my credit report now: Chapter 7 Bankruptcy: Bankruptcy, Reference Number: *******, Date Filed: Mar. 30, 2016, Classification: Bankruptcy, Type: Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, Responsibility: Individual, Asset Amount: ****. Please mail me a corrected credit report once this is removed from my credit report. I wrote this complaint on my own and without third party help.

However, SageStream states the account has been verified. They have refused to delete and remove the inaccurate reporting. SageStream is in clear violation and violating my consumer rights as well as violating FCRA guidelines.

Hi, I hope someone from the BBB team is able to assist with an issue I'm having.

Today (12/16/23) I received a letter in the mail from ********************* regarding a ************* credit card" i did NOT apply for on 12/04/23.

Thinking this may be a scam I looked at my credit report and noticed I in fact did receive a hard inquiry on my credit report. I looked into this immediately, worried someone possibly got a hold of my personal information and is trying to take a credit card out in my name. located on the letter was a phone number to call if there were any "inaccurate" information to dispute the matter.

I called and was brought to an automated voice response that led me nowhere. It wanted me to leave an automated voice message involving all of my personal/sensitive information. This information includes, my social security number, name, address, driver's license number, etc. Information that I personally did not feel comfortable providing due to the suspicious nature. There were no options to speak with anyone or gain any knowledge on matter.

I ended up looking this company up on the internet to find out they've been involved in several class action lawsuits. upon further investigation, several people have claimed they've had very similar incidents to mine. Not to mention this has significantly dropped my credit score by over 100 points.

I've attached 2 photos of the front and back of the document that was sent to me.

I am looking for clarity and assistance with what exactly the plan is to fix this issue.

              Thank you, -****

I applied for a truck loan back in late September and ********* said that my Equifax score was not available and they got a score from SageStream, which I have never heard of. SageStream reported my score as 734, which is the 75% percentile in their grading. All my other credit scores from other bureaus are in the 800s which are in the top percentages. How can this score from a company I have never heard of be so much different than the main credit companies and why is a bank actually using this unknown credit reporting company that has incorrect information.

Upon reviewing my credit report, I found accounts and it's evident that several of my rights have been violated under United States Code Law, specifically TILA, 15 U.S. Code 1666(b) Billing Error and more. I observed multiple billing errors, as per 15 U.S. Code 1666(b)(4), which says that creditors must accurately reflect payments and credits on statements. Additionally, creditors cannot treat a payment as late for any purpose. The affected accounts are SYNCB/ASHLEY HOME STORES - xxxxxxxxxxxx ****, ************* - xxxxxxxxxxxx ****. Data Furnishers claim that everything is complete and accurate, which is puzzling given the incorrect open dates and dates of last activity, among other discrepancies. According to 15 USC ****(5) they are supposed to modify accounts that isn't reporting correctly. The other ways that my rights have been violated are according to 15 U.S.C **** Section 602 A, and 15 U.S.C **** Section 604 A Section 2. These sections affirm my right to privacy and stipulate that a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish an account without my written instructions, which I have not provided. The credit reporting agencies (CRAs) are also reporting late payments on closed accounts, violating my rights under 15 U.S. Code ****e: Compliance Procedures and Accuracy of Report, and 15 U.S. Code ****s2: Responsibilities of furnishers. I have never given permission to share my information, a violation of 15 U.S. Code ****b - Permissible purposes. I composed this complaint independently, without third-party assistance.

I meticulously reviewed my credit reports and uncovered troubling inaccuracies. Data ******************** some affiliated with major ************************* (CRAs), have collectively violated my consumer rights under the ***** Notably, ***************** - 526449XXXXXXXXXX consistently reported inaccurate information, causing distress for me and my family. Furthermore, my Experian Credit Report listed the same account, SYNOVUS/FIRST DIGITAL - 526449XXXXXXXXXX, inaccurately three times on my report every month. This repeated negligence ***** my credit and is against law. Another problematic entry, 1STPROGRESS/TSYS/** - 544303XXXXXXXXXX, raises concerns about data accuracy. The violations include: FCRA violation under 15 U.S Code ****a(2)(B): Exclusions from a consumer report. Violation of 15 U.S Code ****b: Permissible purpose of consumer reports, as I never authorized the sharing of my information. Violation of 15 U.S. Code ****e(b): Compliance Procedures. Violation of 15 U.S. Code ****i(5): Reporting inaccurate accounts without providing verifiable proof of my requests. I emphasize my right to privacy, protected by 15 U.S.C Code **** Section 602 A and Section 604 A, Section 2, which states that a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish an account without my written instructions, I never provided. These violations also extend to a breach of United States Code Law under TILA, specifically 15 U.S. Code 1666(b) regarding billing errors. I conducted this extensive research independently, without third-party assistance. In light of these well-documented violations, I urgently request the removal of these inaccurate accounts from my credit reports.
