On November 1, 2022, Paul Kendall entered into a Desist and Refrain Order with the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. The Desist and Refrain Order settles allegations that Paul Kendall was not authorized to engage in the business of finance lending or brokering, in the state of California under the business name Zipp Funding Inc. Under terms of the Desist and Refrain Order, Paul Kendall was ordered to desist and refrain from engaging in the business of finance lending and brokering in the state of California without first obtaining a license from the Commissioner or otherwise being exempt.
