    False Advertisement This complaint is for the Irvine CA location at the ************. We booked the reservation through priceline specifically choosing a car with unlimited mileage. The day before the pick up, **** called to say that we do not have unlimited mileage, we were only allowed 200 miles per day, and we cannot travel outside of the state. We explained how we booked the reservation and even mentioned that our confirmation email states "unlimited miles." They said they didn't care because it was on their website. Luckily, priceline allowed us to cancel for free.

    This transaction occurred on 5/26/22 when I went to pick up a rental car from Green Motion at their location near LAX. I had prepaid the entire cost of the rental car for $450 dollars. Once I got there, they charged me an additional $130 insurance fee and $20 fee for using the same debit card I booked with. I stated that I was covered under my own insurance and did not want to pay for additional insurance, and even filled out a form with my insurance information. However, they refused to release my prepaid reservation car to me if I did not pay the $150 additional fee that was not included in the original rental agreement. I was forced to pay this $150 fee because I would have been stranded in LA unable to get to my destination if I had refused.
