              **** refused to resolve my issue regarding a money transfer from my Business Account Bill *** to my Personal Checking account in which both accounts are with Bank of the Sierra. When calling the corporate number, the representative was rude and failed to resolve my issue. When asked to speak with a higher up she placed me on hold and then would take me off hold and act as though she was transferring me which continued for over 45 minutes. This is rude, unprofessional and due to my finances being in their care is needing someone to justify these actions as I have placed my trust and money with this institution.

              I am a business owner local to Bank of the Sierra, and recently had a charge back to my account. After I informed the bank of the issue, there was no protection for me from the bank. "Sorry because it was a charge back and labeled "fraud" from a different credit card company there is nothing we can do to help you." Isn't there a protection of up to $250,000 for people banking? There was no alert from the bank to me of the money being taken from my account, no call, or hold before verifying anything with me regarding the customer who paid me five months ago. I have since left the bank and have started banking with a credit union that will protect me, alert me, and then fight for me. They also have a GREAT app, GREAT website, and modern banking options that I LOVE! Also, a week previous to this issue I saw that my account had been compromised. I found it. I canceled the card. When I informed the teller of the issue, they did NOT ask me any questions about what the charges looked like, how much they were, or who they came from. They had no comment at all. I am telling anyone and everyone that I know who banks with them about my situation. They will be losing customers that have been with them for years and years.
