1 stari just found out that spokeo stole $1431 over 3 years off my card. The email used to open this account , i do not have access to . This is FRAUD!!. YOU ARE STEALING MONEY FROM PEOPLE"s CREDIT CARD. what is even more frustrating according to them there has not been any activity on this account?? this business needs to be shutdown!! 1 starSpokeo charged me $29.95 for a "service" that I did not request or desire. After some email exchanges they refunded me about 1/3 of that. DO NOT pay the $0.95 for info on one name unless you want to be automatically subscribed to $29.95 monthly.Review fromMichael B

I have contacted this company several times including receiving an email confirming I would no longer have a charge of $29.95 withdrawn from my account every month. I am still getting charged and the customer service number is a scam. Contacting customercare@spokes is a waste of time. I would like to have my subscription cancelled and my money refunded from two months as I have already been told by the customer service care that it would not happen again. This is something that Ive read is happening as a scam to many others and this company should be looked into.Spokeo, Inc.

I am only able to locate Account ID #********* whose last activity was in 2018. I do apologize for this inconvenience.

ZERO STARS! This company scammed me out of $29.95 for a subscription I clearly did not want. I requested one name search in the "FREE TRIAL"and the information provided wasn't even close to the name I requested. This company is a scam! Steer clear! And you can put your automatic response up the **** of the idiot who thought scamming elders was a good idea! Shame on you!! ??Spokeo, Inc.

Paid $0.95 for a single report, and then 30 days later I get hit with a $29.95 "subscription renewal". I'm beyond upset that I was taken advantage of with this predatory bait and switch tactic. I reached out to their customer service and asked for a full refund, we'll see.Spokeo, Inc.

Spokeo lies and is misleading.i paid the 95 cent trial fee and then I canceled within the 7 day trial. Well, my membership was not canceled. In fact, Spokeo charged me $29.95, $19.95, and another $19.95 free the day after I signed up. I was in the 7 day trial, PLUS I CANCELED the very next day. Of course when I canceled, spokeos website has and error loading' message as soon as I hit submit. Not only did they take an extra $100 out of my account the second day of the service, they then charged me another$29.95 a month later. I canceled this service, so I thought. When I tried to dispute through my bank, the claims were all denied because i did not have proof I canceled. I would have the proof if their website didn't mysteriously not work during the multiple attempts to cancel. This is a garbag site. Not only did they steal money from me, they are not honest about it's capabilities. It does not give you clear info nor is it anything that wasnt already public knowledge. It doesn't examine dating sites and social media accounts. It literally just gives you the same info I could find in ******. What a scam. Don't waste your time. Spokeo should not be allowed to operate. Liars and thieves.Spokeo, Inc.

The company scams you by charging you an unnecessary subscription for $29.95. I opted to get a single ***ort where I unticked or selected the option that made it pretty clear that I did not want a subscription. What did Spokeo do? They charged me for the subscription anyways. I call the company and told them I did not want a subscription in the first place. So, the service *** cancels the service and tells me he can only refund $11.98, and not the full amount. Why just $11.98 and not the full amount? After that I talked to my card company who is disputing the charges. So, why can spokeo only refund $11.98 instead of the full amount for a subscription I clearly said I did not want? *************, please avoid like the plague. ***, do whatever it takes, take action. These scammers are counting on your inaction. This douchebag of a company should not be allowed to get away with this.Spokeo, Inc.
