Spoke with ****** today via phone, he stated the business was in communication with him. He will be transferring funds to different company. He would like close complaint. C. Diego

ment. This is shockingly unprofessional, particularly with real money at issue. I have already set up a live, functional account for self-directed funds at TD Ameritrade. All Sterling needs to do is move the funds into that account while retaining its role as custodian (which is necessary so that I don't lose the tax shield on these funds, nor incur penalties). But first, they need to call me back, reply to my emails or otherwise move on this issue.

I am rejecting this response because: Sterling Administration handled this whole transaction unprofessionally. Thirty two employees had the same mess up of transfer of funds. Sterling Admin was responsible for not sending identifying information and sent everyones check to the new custodian with no information on where to deposit the monies. The funds have not been deposited for three months because they did not due their due diligence, there has been little communication via phone or email. They have never returned a call. On Friday, March 31st, we actually received the first email communication asking for an account number, which was promptly responded to. Really, 3 months for a transfer of health funds. This not okay. I was told by Sterling that they have never had to put information with the check before to identify who to deposit to. Interesting how their story deflects from their bad management. I feel like they owe everyone an apology for mishandling 32 employees HSA funds and make corrections to their business practice so others do not have to go through what we are continuing to experience. Its not over until our funds have been successfully deposited into our accounts that were changed over three months ago on 1/1/23.

      Sincerely,

      Hello *****,

Attached, please find our response to complaint #********.  The check was sent to the new administrator but hey have told us that they had to return it to us, as **************** did not include his new account number.  We have not received the check back to reissue so we will stop payment and reissue with the information the new administrator needs.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The reason for the decline in my card was their main focus. I will make a complaint again if I find it hard to do business  with them again. What they did does not negate the fact that they do not answer phones, do not reply to messages left. Emails get kicked back and website is hard to navigate. Thank you for your help.

***********************************************om 2022. If there iis anything that you can do to help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
