I received a letter from Lending Tower in 2024 stating that I was prequalified for a $23,000 loan over five years with monthly payments around $400. The offer appeared legitimate, and the letter implied that my eligibility had already been assessed.After calling and completing their intake process online, I was informed that I did not qualify for the advertised loan. Instead, I was offered a debt consolidation program that had nothing to do with the original loan terms and only applied to a few of my creditors (*********** and USAA).This feels like a classic bait-and-switch scheme. The prequalification letter appears to be a marketing ploy to get people to call in not a legitimate loan offer. Lending Tower misrepresented its offer, wasted my time, and collected my personal information under false pretenses.I am submitting complaints to the ************************************ (****) and Michigan Attorney General regarding this deceptive advertising practice. I would not recommend doing business with Lending Tower based on my experience.

Before going to this website, as most of us have received a letter in the mail. Please do your research. Also, make sure to ask for them to remove your name from automatically being sent to other companies unless you want that option. They will run your credit through lending tower and then run it through other third-party vendors to see if they can approve you for a loan. I did luckily ask them just to make sure, which the person removed my name from that option. The letter in the mail is not legit. It is a gimmick (false advertisement) which should land them in a lawsuit.Lending Tower

Dont even waste your time.I received a letter stating that I was pre-approved for a loan. Now, granted, Im well aware that a pre-approval isnt an automatic guarantee. The application is still conditional and up for deliberation. I applied and I received a call from a gentleman by the name of ******. I spent 30mins on the phone with ******, explaining my situation, and the reason for the loan. Instead of ****** just telling me up front that my application was denied and giving a brief synopsis on why, ****** proceeds to engage in pre-tense, just to inform me that he sent me a link via email towards the end. While still on the phone with ******, I clicked on the Link just to be told that my application was denied. Again, no hard feelings. I thanked ****** and attempted to end the call. ****** proceeded to try and convince me too set up an appointment with a Debt Relief Program (CONVENIENTLY, there was a link to said program on the email that ****** sent me stating my denial for my loan). Multiple times, during the call, I expressed my wariness with those companies and thanked ****** for his time but, seeing as how my loan application was denied, I saw no use for further communication. I had to end the call due to ******* badgering.****** and Lending Towers, times are hard, and the last thing anybody wants to put up with is double speak and pretense. Please try to work on being more transparent with current and would be customers. It will make a Lot of difference.Lending Tower

The prequalified offer they send you is not legitimate. I went through the process, and was told I had no loan offers and they wanted me to go through a debt relief program, consisting of stopping payments to my current lenders, which can cause significant credit issues despite their claims to the contrary. They do not care about you, they just want your money in whatever fashion they can get it.This is a very disingenuous business practice and I do not feel they ever intended to make good on the offer they mailed me. I will not use their services in any manner.Lending Tower

Lies !!!! They send you a fake check and document saying you qualify for personal $****** loan at $*** month payment and then lies to get you to call and then bam ******** about debt consolidation ****!!!! All lies !!! Straight up lies and gimmicks to run your credit and sell ya other **** !!!!! Don't fall for this ****!!! Toss their nail in the trash and don't believe them!!!!
