We got these solar panels on our roof from a company that is no longer in business. The panels have NEVER in their entirety of being here worked properly. We have always had the same type of electric bill on top of paying solar panels payments of $242 a month because we were lied to about tax incentives. Now we are wanting to sell our home but running into issues because since we were lied to about taxes, we owe $52,000 on panels that do not work and no one wants to make hefty payments on things that dont do the job plus electric payments. I tried to contact solar edge to have someone come out to hopefully get our panels in full running condition but of course they only allow you to chat with a computer, and once you say what the blinking lights are doing in the system they say things are fine and you basically get no help. My panels produce little energy and not only have we paid nearly $8000 out of pocket for a non working system but now we are struggling to sell our home due to complete and total disregard for other people and their families by pressuring, lying, and selling faulty systems. I NEED SOMEONE TO FIX MY PANELS!!!!!!!!!!!! Solar edge is the ONLY point of contact I have and cannot even get an actual person to take my calls to assist on this massive mistake of an investment.

    Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we feel sorry you were abandoned by your contractor, please know that our product warranty still remains valid.

it is true that all system owners should be working with a contractor, when the original contractor goes out of business then clearly the option would be to locate someone else in the area.

your system shows consistent power generation since March of 2023 and until today, please know that Solaredge does not partake in the selling or design of the systems, this is all done by the contractor.

lastly, please know that Solaredge is simply a manufacturer, our products are sold to distributors who sell to contractors who then sell to system owners like yourself.

Called ************ which is the main Solar edge number. I go thru all the prompts and then it tells me it is not taking any calls from customers and to contact my installer. My installer, *********, is out of business, so then the phone message says to go to their website. Get in the circle of saying for my issue (my inverter is not broadcasting a wifi signal) I need to contact an installer. When I do solaredge's search for an installer, it says there are none in my area. I have done all the suggested trouble shooting and still no response from anything that I have tried submitting online. This has been going on since the issue started on April 2nd. There was a bad storm that had fried our modem, so I have a replacement one and now my *** communication isn't working because the inverter wifi isn't broadcasting it's signal for me to log into, in order to change the *** password. I need help.

On about March 30th, I contacted SolarEdge Corporation as I have bought a house with their system already installed. After four days, they replied with an email stating their otherized service provider in my area is Conexsol and they would proactively reach out to me. One week passed, and no contact from their service provider. Then I reached out to them and discovered that I would need a site transfer document and then a service call. I spoke with them four different times, and they have failed to take the first step in sending me the form. I called twice after the CEO stated they would send. I feel now they are deliberately not returning my phone calls.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/25/2025

    Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

please be advised that monitoring access is solely managed by the solar contractor who installs and maintains the system, in this case Conexsol can request to take over your system on the monitoring platform, once they are listed as the administrator then then it would be up to them to grant you access.

Conexsol can request the transfer by contacting us at ************ or we can make an exception and provide a more faster support for this request at ******************************************* please know we need to make sure the request for access should come from Conexsol.

We are glad to read that we were willing to make a couple of exceptions for you, one by agreeing to grant you access which is not something that is under our scope of support and two by providing a referral for service, all system owners are free to hire any solar contractor to service their system, we may as a convenience and courtesy provide a referral depending on system location.

The company is completely unresponsive to my requests for technical support. After we replaced the roof, the contractors reinstalled the solar panels and they produce electricity but they can't communicate via wifi with the app used to monitor it. I filed a request for assistance on April 14 (case #*******), and ever since their site shows only the generic "A support agent is actively working your case and will get back to you with a resolution shortly. Please note that the solar installation company that services your system has access to all RMA and case status updates for your SolarEdge products." message. No one answers the phone, either - they repeat the "all our agents are currently busy" twice and the third message is "we're sorry we missed your call" and they disconnect. Clearly, they have no intention of taking anyone's call. The desired outcome is contact by the business but ideally resulting in repair/reset.

My SolarEdge inverter goes offline producing no power with no fault indication and no warning the company is telling me it's due to an ARC Fault error. The system has been thoroughly tested for Arc Fault issues and none have been found. I want the inverter replaced under warranty as this would be the next logical troubleshooting step. However SolarEdge refuses my request for a warranty replacement.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/21/2025

    Hi,

    Thank you for your feedback.

Please be aware that as we have confirmed on several occasions, we would've provided a replacement for the inverter by now if that was clearly the solution.

ARC fault detection is simply a mechanism required by all Solar photovoltaic systems at least in the ***, we have also looked into your system and have notified your installer that no further ARC faults have been detected with your system.

we kindly encourage you to continue working with your solar contractor for any issues or concerns about your photovoltaic system.

I have been trying to get full access to my account. The previous installer Titan solar went out of business and yet some how ether they or streamline solar own my inverter. I cannot register the inverter because for some reason they own it. I have tried to talk to their costumer service **** and they keep telling me to go find another installer and pay them. I do not have unlimited funds. I want to be able to fix and use the inverter I bought. Their service **** always give me the go around. I need your help to get this fixed. All I need is for my SN to be switched to my account and for my account to become installer certified. So I can fix the inverter. The inverter stops communicating every 3-4 days I have to go and reset the whole system. Then the *** starts working again. I am trying to just turn on the wifi module but I need installer access just to activate it. Please help I do not know what to do any more. I have tried talking to them for what seems like multiple days now. I am not even disputing the amount of money I had to pay already for the installers to come. I was supposed to have 25 worry free years from 2 different companies. both went out of business.

My panels optimizer went out. I received an email notification from SolarEdge about the problem. They advised to contact my installer for repairs. I found out my installer *********** filed Bankruptcy and is no longer in business. I found another business that will service my panels. On March 24th I notified SolarEdge support to change to this new company to service and monitor my panels. They replied back with a link to request the change. Come to find out, the request to change my service company requires $100 fee. I notified support that I should not be penalized by paying $100 to change service provider because *********** filed Bankruptcy and went out of business without any notification to me. Their reply: I understand your frustration regarding the site transfer fee, I want to assure you that we empathize with your situation and appreciate your patience. The $100 fee for transferring the monitoring services to a new installer is part of our new company policy. We understand that this may be an unexpected expense, and we regret any inconvenience it may ******** this situation the fee should be waived due to the fact that I have no choice to transfer service providers. On top of that I now have to pay the new service provider for their services when I had a warranty with the bankrupt ****** requesting the $100 fee be waived for the transfer of service providers.

    Business Response

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

please know that the monitoring transfer to a different installation company is not a requirement, it is simply optional and a service we provide as a convenience, also please know that you may request from your new installation company to cover this cost since it is their incentive to have access to your system, monitor it and provide service when needed.

if this does not work for you then please feel free to email us at ****************************************** and we can try to accomodate your request to make an exception.

Our solar system has not been working completely or partially for the last month. I contacted ************* and they stated the problem was with Solar Edge. I contacted Solar Edge twice and the problem is not fixed, even though the customer service *** said it was. I have talked to Solar Harvest several times and they have contacted Solar Edge as well but to no avail. I want my system fixed ASAP as we are losing money every day it does not work.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/02/2025

    hI,

thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

please know that the intermittent issue with your system is related to an ARC fault mechanism with the system, this is a safety mechanism that is required for all systems to have at least in the ***, this mechanism by code must halt system production until it resets for 5 minutes and it is not able to detect the fault again, there before the system is working as expected by detecting those faults. We can also see fortunately that the system has not detected any more faults since 3/25/2025. please continue working with your installation company on this matter and have them let us know if they need further assistance.

Have been paying for solar energy for 2 months, come to find out system was not producing energy for those two months and was never notified. Contacted manufacturer who only offered to send the same inverter back to get reinstalled, after it was already changed once prior due to it being faulty and not producing energy,I am having to pay for services that I have not been receiving, and the company offers no resolution.

*********** the installer went bankrupt in 2024. I have contacted solar edge multiple times with no response. On 8/2/2024 was the last time the system communicated with the converter app. My electric bill keeps increasing, I have no idea if I'm producing power. I'm basically paying for a solar system that I have no idea if it's working. The installer lied about the condition of the roof. I need a roof replacement and I the panels removed and reset. It's very poor costumer service with solar edge.

    Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we are sorry to read your installation company has gone out of business.

Please know that your warranty with us is still valid and covers parts for the period of time specific to each component, 12 years for the inverter and 25 years for the power optimizers, 5 years for any monitoring device.

unfortunately roofing and service issues are not part of our warranty, again, our warranty only covers parts.

I am rejecting this response because: Again I have no idea if I'm producing energy, there solar edge app will not work. I have been contacting them since Aug 2nd 2024. They do not respond to my emails. The fail to provide a solar company to maintain solar panels. My only option is to default on the loan. They need to provide me with a installer or panel maintenance in my area. Again my electric bills are you which means I'm not producing energy. No way of me knowing unless they connect me back to the solar edge app

    Hi,

thank you for following up on this complaint, under our previous response, we have provided a referral link for service.

please know that again, system owners whose installer is out of business are free to hire someone else, contractors are independent from Solaredge there before we cannot simply assign you a new solar contractor.

lastly, service for a system is between the system owner and whoever the system owner hires to provide such service.
