    This complaint is in regards to my (*********************************) mothers (*****************************) lack of care, communication of therapy, and questionable practices of third party care, communication, and fiduciary involvement. My mother has been in this (Edgewater) facility for over a month with little communication to none to said clients relatives or with deadlines and promises made and lapsed due to lack of therapy involvement or neglect of third-party doctor care/visits. The Edgewater staff have held my mother hostage at the facility through threat of denial of third party care. The Edgewater staff relayed to me saying it was on doctors orders for her to stay and continue rehab. After finally getting the information from the "third-party" doctor, I was informed that she was released from said doctor over a week ago and the Edgewater staff there were the ones keeping her against doctors wishes. My serious concern is that the Edgewater staff are keeping clients unnecessarily longer than their needed stay and collecting on the additional out of pocket co-pays from their ******************* companies even after the "third party" doctors have released them. The Edgewater staff are holding my mother hostage at their facility through threat of denial of third party care saying that the "third-party" doctor is the one making the decisions when in actuality the doctor has voiced that he/she is only relying on the facilities recommendation and its their decision.
