Installation of solar panels by Freedom Forever, it required roof replacement they hired ACCI ROOFING. ACCI ROOFING was to outsource a professional plumber for removal of two solar water tanks, cap off the pipes. The tanks hold 50 gallons each. Roofing was postponed many times, according to ******* (last name is Alens I think) -failed to secure a qualified plumber. This roofer took it upon himself to remove the tanks. The man and this company are NOT licensed for Plumbing. They ended up damaging the ***** Platinum water heater. Twice I lost hot water service, he comes back and works in water heater and hot water returned. They completed the roof install and within days, I didnt have hot water again. I went to check the water heater closet and water was dripping down the front and the pan was full of water, the tank was OFF, no light could be seen and the raised platform the water heater sits on, had water sitting everywhere, the wood was very waterlogged. ******* came back to check what was happening for himself, walks out to speak to his boss, a guy named *****, comes back in and says that ACCI ROOFING never touched the water heater! NO, but he cut the plumbing at the roof level but they are the same plumbing pipes going into the water heater. No one has touched this water heater since it was installed by a professional. ******* walked out but did ask me if I wanted him to shut the water off at the street, even though it will shut all water off and I wouldnt be able to use bathroom or anything else. (In 98 degree weather). Its been 11 days since he left my home. I am 68 with spinal, neck injury and severe nerve damage. I live on SSDI and live with chronic pain. The hot water is important to me as it helps me to take hot showers every evening in order to get to sleep. The workers they hire to work on my home left trash, cigarette ********************** nails and roof nails that have a disk throughout my backyard. Debris fell from my garage ceiling from the install.

Yes this person had a flex line on the top of her water heater of witch we never had anything to do with the copper lines on the roof did not leak, we told her that she needed to call a plumber and have the flex line replaced at the top of her water heater inside her house. We never herd back and assumed she did what she needed to do to fix her water heater flex line. All her other complaints we took the necessary steps to remedy and we took care of those additional items.

    Thanks

my roof is missing would that is visual in attic. There are areas that show whit paper where there should be wood. This roof install is not safe, roof is bouncing when you step on it as I was told by landscaper when trimming palm leaves, he said when he walked on roof it would sink with every step and claimed it is not safe. I ended up stepping on an old corroded roof nail into my heel and I have permanent damage. I have many photos to show you of their unprofessional installation and photos of the bad job they did installing the metal that comes off the edge, metal is not flat against the ***** and seems are not split. I need to express the fact that ACCI DID NOT PULL PERMITS THIS IS VERIFIED BY ****** AT THE ************** OFFICE. I found this out after I submitted my original complaint. They left open wires from a flood light that they did not replace dangling in the air. I have more photos that I would like to provide as there are other issues that need to be seen. These photos are with ******************* and I need to submit asap. I need more time because I am dealing with so much unprofessional work. This company didnt have legal right to do ANY PLUMBING WORK AS THEY ARE NOT CONTRACTED FOR PLUMBING AND MY INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER THEIR UNCLEAN WORK. They capped off plumbing above my water heater and ACCI dropped two 50 pound water filled tanks on my roof causing structural cracks all through my walls and ceilings. I am disabled and need way more time to include all that I am uncovering about this horrible job.

My response to her original complaint should have covered what she is complaining about. In regard to deflection (bouncing) that happens when walking across the roof, this is due to the 3/8th thickness of plywood that was used when this track home was built (1/2 used today) (not contracted to replace plywood and not required to). The roof structure is the original build and had the same as she calls it bouncing before we replaced the roofing, and we did nothing to change it,  this person does not understand or have knowledge of construction (nor does her landscaper) and any explanation given to her does not matter, , we had nothing to do with her electrical wiring either, nor her water heater inside her house (please see first response). When dealing with a house that is as old as this one is the framing is no longer in perfect shape and will cause the drip edge metal to have gaps due to the waves in the fascia board at the eves, we were not hired to replace the framing or the roof structure, we were hired to replace the roofing only. As for the underlayment paper she sees under the roof it most likely occurs at roof penetrations or gaps in the plywood and is a typical condition and occurs in every home built the country. We did not cause cracks in her ceiling or walls.
