STOLE MY QUOTE MONEY. I visited a website that provided a list of car warranty companies in my area to compare quotes with. I called three warranty companies to compare quotes. ******* Auto was one of them. Each company asked for a refundable quote deposit to lock in the price and gave me up to 30- days to compare contracts. This was clearly understood by all. However, after deciding within less than a 10-day period one company gladly refunded my money. However, ******* Auto pulled a fast one on me and stated that it was a non-refundable activation fee. I clearly spook in English, and it was clearly understood by both of us that I was comparing quotes. So why would I activate a policy that I am not sure of purchasing? So, they feel they should keep my $75.00 X 2 (Two policies) without giving me a chance to decide if I want it or not. It only took me less than 10 days to decide. The policy itself doesn't even kick till after 30 days and ***** miles. This is a no-brainer, just give me my money back. Hello Mr. ************************ will be working with you our billing department to refund you on all your policies. Normally the 75 dollar down payment is non-refundable and if you are charged for the monthly payment. Then choose to cancel within that 30 day period we would refund the monthly charge, I don't believe this was explained to you.
Please excuse the error on our part. We will be refunding you no later than Monday.

I bought this warranty after I bought my truck used so I thought I was covered. After taking it to a transmission shop they submitted the claim and ox asked for maintenance records. I do all of my own engine oil changes to save money and it is a very simple process. They denied the claim because of this, even though engine oil changes have nothing to do with the transmission having issues, the gentleman at the transmission repair shop told me that he does not understand this logic either. I did find the old carfax that came with the truck when we bought it and it has a record of engine oil changes done by the dealership. I bought the truck with just under ******* miles on it and it has about ******* on it now. I was lead to believe the warranty would fix any drive train issues as long as there is no signs of abuse or aftermarket add-ons, ***** told me the maintenance had to be done by an ASC certified technician. I take very good care of my vehicles, I would do this repair myself but it does require specialty tools to rebuild that I do not have. Very disappointed with this service. I did get the platinum policy so that most everything is supposed to be covered. Buyers bewareOx Car Care

I am sorry for the inconvicence but the policy is clear when it comes to claims regarding the need for service records.
Please view the following on ********* of your policy: Agreement holder responsibilities>Instructions to be followed in the event of a Covered Breakdown>D. Furnish the authorized repair facility with receipts evidencing the continuation of service requirements.
Moreover, the policy is also clear when it comes to definitions stating the vehicle must be taken to a certified repair facility.

i needed a fuel pump replaced myself and my mechanic could not get any responce to fullfill thair agreement. we have been trying to get this problem resolved for over a month with no results. i am very disapointed with this compay. started paying back in february. i would like to cancel and get reimbursed for the money they received from me. ****************************Ox Car Care

Your claim was denied on 6/1/2023 notice was sent to *********** facility regarding the repair needed. The denial was based on incomplete service records, we emailed you on 5/18/23 requesting the need for maintenance records and received no reply. Ox does not mind issuing you a pro-rata refund, we would just need you to fill out the letter of cancellation located in your policy handbook, once we receive that along with the certified odometer reading. We will process your pro-rata refund, please email your documents to ********************************* in the event you are unable to locate your policy handbook. Please email the legal department and they will gladly send you the portion that needs to be filled out. Please put your name and policy number in the subject line when emailing.

So disappointed with Ox car care. I waited for two weeks to get a claim approved and they denied me because I did not provide them with the previous owner maintenance paperwork and that was strange to me and my car is up-to-date and maintenance from day one and they still denied my claim and I dont understandOx Car Care

Hello Mr. ******************* claim was denied on insufficient car records, the car fax we have on file does not detail all the services that were done from prior and current ownership. I know this is a inconvicence and may sound absurd to ask for documents prior to your ownership. However, our policy for claims does ask for it. VERY BAD SERVICE AND COMUNICATION Do not buy OC care. On or about MAY 13 my repair was completed and paid for by ME.. even though ID card says that OX would pay with company CC!**** 9 and STILL waiting for my reimbursement check! I am paying interest on this money! Many calls and many VMs to no avail as nobody EVER calls back. when on hold, all i get is Chinese opera music for 15 minutes (my personal record). Last talked to a **** on 5/30 and said check re issued after returned. Huh? **** could not provide a date as the "system was down" I want to CANCEL BOTH my accounts and paid back for **** if applicable.. yes i have each car covered, but no longer. CANCEL and send my check!Ox Car Care

I am sorry that you have a bad experience regarding claims but Ox does not handle *********** claim. You have a superior plan and if you look into your policy you will see the claims number listed for superior which is **************. Direct ******************* Services is who you should be contacting as we do not service customer repairs for this plan. Moreover, if you want to cancel you have to contact them as well. You can email your cancellation notice to DPWS at ************************** Again, Ox is just the broker for this plan and we do not service claims for this plan.

Customers Beware....****************** charged my credit card and did not provide the monthly billing charges... and this has been going for over a month... I spoke with so called ***** and seems this person does not exist when I called back today. Spoke with ******* who refuses to transfer to to billing department. I highly recommend NOT signing up with Ox Car Care.. Ox Car Care ow me two processing fees of $75.00 for each vehicle. Also, their prices are outrages nearly $200.00 a month..Ox Car Care

Thank you for your comment, I am sorry that Ox is not the extended warranty company that you hoped. However, just for insight the two 75 dollar charges were to start your policy for both cars, which were 109 and ***** dollars per month coming out to ****** in total. This rate is below normal, as each policy and vehicle is special case. The rate of the policy matters on factors of the car such as mileage, age, and condition. The value you get with Ox is by far one of the best in the industry especially for the price. Nonetheless, I am sorry we could not help you.

Wasn't able to afford it as i moved, however it was easy to cancel for me. Took some time to get back into my bank but most things are like that. Never seen an immediate refund in my life. Take notes and look at the policy. **** probably get it again once i settle into my new placeOx Car Care

I took my car to the shop on the 15th of may the guy came out to assess it and no one called in a couple of days so the mechanic called I called everyday to see what the hold up they said it still under review. I need my car to get around, we cal each until the 31st of may and they said it still is under review so why do you pay for warranty if they dont do what they say this is horrible I want any answer.. it is the 6th of June and still no responseOx Car Care
