We hired Tommy Rooter to install a water heater into a manufactured home that we had just purchased in **************, **. Two months after the installation, the water heater started making a weird noise and upon investigation, we discovered that the hot water pipe leaving the heater had a leak, which flooded our entire crawl space under the building. The original technician came out, turned his nose up at dealing with the problem, which prompted us to write the following email:Your guy said that he would have to come back tomorrow, once the water has cleared out the crawl space. Additionally he was of no help with the removal of the water, because "my sump pump broke". Your guy then proceeded to lay the groundwork to deflect the blame off of him and the installation. The hot water line coming out of the heater is a dangling PVC pipe that leads into the crawl space. Any plumber with a sense of workmanship would not have left the pipe just dangling like that, but instead secured the pipe to the wall and checked the couplings leading into the crawl space. His claim that "that's just how manufactured homes are" is not sufficient considering how much the installation cost.I expect this issue to be fixed, so that the heater works the way it should have after the initial installation. I do not consider the job that we paid for to be completed. Here are some choice excerpts from the company's response:The installation of the water heater by my technician had nothing to do with the old water piping under the coach at all. The piping looks like Quest and most likely needs to be replaced for safety reasons.Due to your language, demeanor and looking for a scapegoat for your very old water lines, we will no longer be servicing any property associated with you. Any further contact from you or any representative of yours will be considered harassment and will be handled as such.Any reputable plumbing service would have pointed these issues out before the job.

I would like to share my experience with Tommy Rooter. Yesterday, the plumber shows up to fix my plumbing issue which was to unclog my toilet. Not even one min into using a snake my toilet was broken. So I had to wait until the plumber came back causing me to miss my doctor's ************ He shows up 2 hours later with a smaller toilet than what was there. He doesn't change the wax ring nor did he seal the toilet with caulking. The plumber than says that's all that he can do. Leaves my bathroom a complete miss with water everywhere and the toilet still doesn't work. I then wait till today to call and explain my experience with the receptionist and she asks me to email her pictures which I did and she would let the owner know and as off 7:48 pm I have still have not received a call or an email. What does that say about the owner and how his business is run. I'll let you come up with your own conclusions. I now have to pay to replace the toilet that they broke and then pay for an emergency plumber to come out cause I am 55 and disabled and I can't live without a bathroom.
