On 6-3-23, I was advised by my anti-virus (Norton) to go to this website and request that any information that they have on me should be removed, immediately. I complied and completed the information on their website, but, they insisted that I send them a copy of my ID, which I WILL NOT do! I have been a victim of identity theft in the past and DO NOT want to deal with that again! I also have a problem with a company requesting this! They gave me this code number to fax or mail my ID in: 'a38750138d8d490641e3284e6f436076'This is terrible and SHOULD NOT be allowed! How does the public know that THEY aren't developing a data base and then selling it? The BBB is giving a low rating on this company, and it appears that all the requests for ID's from the public is the primary reason! I do not believe that anyone should have to give up a very personal and highly valuable piece of their identity such as a driver's license! I don't care what they say, promise or anything else! This is a piece of critical information that hackers, scammers, and a variety of criminals can use to perpetrate their crimes. ************ should be investigated by the *** as well as Homeland Security as to how they conduct their business, who has access, how it is protected, etc.
No, their offer is NOT acceptable! I think that they should be reported because there are a lot of people that are gullible enough to give them this information, and then, do not realize how they have made themselves vulnerable as a result! The BBB should fully investigate this company. Thank you!

Peoplewhiz.com has my name, address, age, and relatives listed on the internet. However, part of the information is incorrect. Im trying to get the information removed and the company says they will only remove my information if I send them a copy of my drivers license. On 5-14-2024, I attempted to have my personal information removed from this company's website along with all its similarly named and affiliated websites. (peoplewhizedcom, peoplewizardcom, peoplewizcom,peoplewizardnet, peopleswhizr, peopleswhizrcom, peopleswhized, peopleswhizard, peoplewhizednet, peoplewhizrnet, and so on) They require that I submit a photo ID, and I will not voluntarily give them any personal information such as a driver's license ID with my state and ID number. This should be illegal. I want ALL my personal information removed immediately AND for my personal information NEVER to appear again on their website(s). I spent at least two hours submitting sending "opt out" requests to the websites above and to 30 other websites to no avail.Business Response
