      They tell you one thing and do another. No such thing as 5 days free trial what it really is, is charge you as soon as you log in and give you 14 days to cancel. Tells you one rate and changes it the next month. Do not recommend.

      Tried Directv to see a football game. Was unable to get it, so cancelled within 5 days. Found I'd tried the wrong package and decided to give them another chance and sign up for two months. Chat salesperson reinstated my cancelled account so I could manage my account and get a different package. That didn't work so s/he had me open a new account under another email address. When I ordered the package, the total fee was more than I expected. So I had him/her cancel immediately. I emphasized several times all accounts should be cancelled. S/he assured me they were. Then I got a notice $***** had been autocharged to my credit card. I called, talked to someone hard to understand. She said all she could do was cancel, but my ***** had been charged so I'd have a month of service. I didn't want a month of service due to their careless/intentional action. But I didn't get the charge refunded. My advice is NEVER deal with them. I saw the bad reviews and sadly did not heed the warnings.

      Trying to cancel have no contract anymore with them they just keep dicking me around just want to return equipment and be done with them

      I only had this service for one month. Awful service from the start. I was mislead on the price of the service. The remote never worked right from the start. I communicated via chat to dispute the price difference and the only answer you get from them is no, I cant help you.I had them cancel the service due to the lack of customer service from this company.I asked for a return label and return box be sent via mail to me. They refused this as well. They told me I had to do all of that myself. I told them I dont work for their company and I need that sent to me. They refused. And told me I would be charged if not sent back by a certain time.Awful service..And the supervisor I got was borderline rude and did nothing but talk and yell the entire conversation. She needed to be quiet and listen instead. They need to realize they would not have a job if it were not for the customer and know the customer is always right.They need to accommodate each and every customer. The supervisor I spoke with needs much more customer service ***************************** could give me several months worth of service for free and it would not be worth my time..

      Trial period charges despite being unable to use the service because of their partners (***** poor performing internet service. Claims trial period had just ended and charged $130 plus another $60 when they can see time and dates of useheartless. I am contacting their corporate offices in hopes of finding understanding.

      This TV service its a scam ; now that the TV services are changing we signed up with direct TV to see what is like and we realizacafter three days we didnt like it and now they want almost 500 us to cancel ; thats a rip ok , a scam ; they just give you 24 hrs so its a scam; 24 hrs means you are not to go to work , sleep, eat etc just watch TV ; its unfair and not right that we gave to stick to something we dont like of pay 480 us which its a scam . We are cable users and we thought we could try to see how the service is in direct TV and we dont like it and its a scam Giving 24 hrs to change ? Especially when the whole systems are changing ? Thats not a real thing , you need a week or more ; its not right no one its 24 hrs watching tv ; its not right and someone should regulate these companies .. we dont have 500 us , its robbing people ; just for a guy that left a box and it took him 29 minutes . Not even explained anything we had a friend come and spend four hours to fix the light etc because I have eye problems .Direct TV its a scam so people cannot try each system now that they are changing . We do not have the money to pay .

      I called this company and paid off bill on 9/19/25 Service was to be canceled on 9/31/25. I made sure I had paid all fees before I hung up with caller. Then I get a bill in Oct for $75.00 said because of late bill my service was terminated then restarted without our consent ! This is definitely does not tell the truth to get customers money! Definitely will not recommend this company

      They raise your bill then try to say it is because of certain things. They dont work with you on resolving the issue. Stay away from Direct tv

      LIES---need I say more. It's been three weeks of LIES. They tell me I'm connected and I have the service I ordered but I don't. They point fingers at the complex. Then they tell me its a box issue. Three weeks of LIES and no service. No one to complain too, no e-mail address, but I get my bill on time for the basic service. They have even told me they are not telling me the truth. Can't get ******* and we are stuck with this @#$@.

      Directv is no longer part of AT&T as is evident by the poor functioning of their billing & customer service departments. I was signed up for auto pay, & it worked for about 15+ years, until July. Now, in Oct., for the 2nd time my service has been cut off for lack of payment. This time they did email a bill - the day after they cut me off. I spent over 3 hours on-line and on phone trying to get this staightened out. Again. The website misdirected me for everything I searched for, & the customer service by phone switched me from person to person to person before someone decided she could help. She took my payment, signed me up for auto pay & paper billing, but couldn't reconnect my satellite dish tho said it should be back on within the hour. Four hours later, I called again for tech support, who told me there was no record of my payment going thru. If you are looking for a tv provider with excellent customer service you won't find it with Directv!!
