  Our family vacation to Ireland June 11,2023 through June 20, 2023 was grossly overcharged by Brendan. We prepaid many months in advance. In February I called Brendan and questioned the agent why we were booked so many rooms per night. Her response was, That is the way we do it . Lo and behold when we get checked in for our first and each consecutive night at all the places we stayed in Ireland, we were overbooked for 1 to 2 additional rooms each night. We did not even use the additional booked rooms. Each place we stayed could not answer our questions, so we had our tour director witness what had happened to us. We have contacted Brendan vacations tours regarding this debacle to no avail. No return calls and no satisfaction whatsoever in the time since our trip. I am now going to go to every entity that I can to get this situation resolved. The star rating I am giving is for the overcharge only. It has no reflection on the personnel that accompanied and worked our tour in Ireland, they were fantastic.

  Brendans dishonesty cost my family ****s of dollars in room charges. We booked our trip in the Winter of 2022 for a total over $20,000. Twice in early in 2023 mother called Brendan to inquire why a family of 7 would need 4 rooms. She said her and my dad would be separated and my husband and myself would also be separated so we could room with the children. Given there were 4 adults and 3 children traveling each of the children was placed in an adult room and my dad was booked to stay by himself the entire trip! Seriously?!?! She was told this is how they normally do things. We had never traveled to Europe so who are we to argue with the experts? In February 2023 we contacted Brendan for one night stay at the hotel the tour was started from so we could ensure our on time arrival. If your flights are delayed or cancelled they wont come get you. After booking we contacted the hotel directly we found the rate for us to book outside Brendan was ****% less expensive. 2 weeks before departure we again inquired about the need to split up our families and were given the same answer: No double hotel rooms or family rooms available.At 5 of the 6 hotels family rooms or rooms with 2 double beds were available and at most of the hotels we only utilized 2 to 3 of the rooms Brendan forced us to purchase. I called many of the hotels well enough in advance we and Brendan should have been eligible for a refund. After we returned home I called Brendan and pretended I wanted to book the same tour leaving 3 days later. We were quoted as needing only 3 rooms for a family of 7. I have this confirmed in an email and also a recorded telephone conversation with a Brendan representative confirming the need for only 2 rooms for a family of 5 with children and 3 rooms if my parents came along. Lastly, based on our calculation of the number of rooms needed during our stay in Ireland we were overbooked and overcharge for a total of 9 rooms, overpaying close to $4,000!!
