Bay Equity had great rates and promising reviews in most places I read. The process ended up in a complete disaster. The process was relatively quick and anyone is bound to run into ups and downs in this process. After mountain and mountains of paperwork as normal, we had multiple set backs in our close date. Then we closed and a few months later we were notified that our county taxes were not paid. That was an issue with the title company that was eventually solved. Then we get another tax bill and it was paid out our escrow. After months of fighting with the title company and Bay Equity, neither company assumed responsibility for the tax slipping through the cracks. They just pointed fingers at each other. In our initial our payment was supposed to be about $1500 we are now at almost $1900 with no responsibly taken for the part of who is responsible for researching the taxes. Also very difficult to get a call back. I was hung up on multiple times. Not sure if it was the service company they use or Bay Equity but trying to get information is almost impossible unless you get one of the few nice ladies or go back through your broker. I wish we would have used a different lender and title company all together.

My experience with **** was one of the most unprofessional I have experienced in the last 30+ years of home buying. She had a complete melt down when I suggested another loan officer should handle the loan process while she was on vacation. Embarrassing response. Complete egotistical wreck claiming she was in the top 1% and I wrecked her yoga class. Do yourself a favor and find a mortgage broker that has multiple lending sources at better rates with the same lending fees.

My credit was ran and weeks later no response. I reached out only to find out that there's nothing they can do for me. I don't believe that this is a reputable company or maybe P******** N***** is just shady with the way she handles certain customers. She literally contacted me 5 times prior to getting my information. I even mentioned that I didn't feel safe with her persistance. She assured me that she would transfer me the "The Credit Guy" (not sure how safe he is either!). Then boom she disappear and I hear nothing else. I hope my credit is safe and this doesn't happen to any one else. If I could I would give bay equity no stares. This is the worst mortgage broker of all time. My wife and I were 2 hours from closing and they bailed on us. They didn't even call us or email nothing. I called a **** like six times nothing. After going to u.s. **** were the sell their loans. Us **** called are realtor. And asked some questions. About two minutes later are agent that quit calls us. She reads U.S **** the riot act. All I can say is Wow.
