I took my car for service at Toyota of Anaheim. They recommended that I should replace my tires. I told them that I had just bought the vehicle a little over a year ago so I did not replace them. A day later my husband noticed that the tires on the vehicle were not mine. I went back to the shop and spoke to the manager. The manager indicated that he would have to check the camera footage and asked me to come back in 2 weeks. I waited patiently the 2 weeks that he asked; however when I went he saId that he couldn't see nothing on camera past 6 days. I requested for him to show me the cameras, but he refused and said that there was nothing he could do. I'm very frustrated because money is tight and the tires that they replaced mines with are severely wornInitial Complaint

I am filing this complaint regarding a misleading and potentially unlawful charge I incurred at Toyota of Miller Anaheim. Prior to bringing in my van for diagnosis due to a cranking noise and an air conditioning issue, I called customer service and was clearly informed that the diagnostic service would be free of charge. However, upon dropping off my vehicle, I was immediately told that there would be a mandatory minimum charge of $200. Although I signed the paperwork, I did so under pressure and misleading pretenses, which I believe violates consumer protection laws.Following the diagnostic, I approved only one minor repair costing approximately $46. Despite this, I was ultimately charged $205. I am formally disputing and contesting the illegitimate $200 fee, which I believe was falsely represented and unfairly imposed.I am seeking a refund for the unjust $200 charge and appropriate accountability for this misleading business practice.Initial Complaint

To Whom It May Concern,I am filing a complaint against Toyota of Miller Anaheim for deceptive sales practices, unethical financing tactics, and discriminatory treatment. My experience at this dealership involved misrepresentation of financing requirements, unnecessary credit inquiries, misleading sales tactics, and offensive remarks.I visited the dealership to purchase a 2025 Toyota Camry XSE with approved financing from Navy ******************** and a blank check ready for payment. Despite my approved loan, I was:Pressured into a credit check under false pretenses. Sales staff claimed my Social Security number was required for a background check related to terrorism. In reality, this was an OFAC screening, and my SSN was not required. This was misleading and an attempt to push Toyota financing.Given conflicting information on check processing. I was told it would take up to 16 days for my check to clear, contradicting Navy Federals confirmation that the dealership could verify the funds instantly via a verification code.Forced to sign an unnecessary collateral contract. Finance Manager ****** ***** attempted to get me to sign a backup financing contract at 7.99% interest, despite my existing financing, to push me toward Toyotas lending program.Subjected to discriminatory treatment. When I declined Toyota financing, ****** stated in Spanish to my family and me, "Aqu no trabajamos como los dealer chiquitos de la esquina a los que ustedes estn acostumbrados." implying we only had experience with predatory dealerships. After I walked away, Sales Manager ****** ******* called me, suddenly stating my check had cleared. This directly contradicted their previous claim that it would take up to 16 days, proving that their policies were arbitrarily enforced to pressure me into Toyota financing.Toyota of Miller Anaheims actions reflect deceptive business practices and potential violations of Californias consumer protection laws.Sincerely,******* *******Initial Complaint

Dear BBB,I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to file a formal complaint against Toyota of Anaheim, outlining a series of issues related to their failure to address a brake problem in my vehicle and the lack of communication from their **************** Manager, ****.My ordeal began with a brake service at Toyota of Anaheim on September 30, 2023. Despite the full brake service, my vehicle continued to exhibit a persistent squealing sound, which prompted me to contact Toyota of Anaheim and Toyota National Headquarters in January ****.During the past week, I engaged with ****, the Head **************** Manager at ********************** to resolve the ongoing brake issue. In our conversation, I meticulously detailed the problems I had been facing. **** assured me that the dealership would rectify the issue if I could provide proof of the brake job not being done correctly. Furthermore, she committed to emailing me on Tuesday, January 30, ****, to facilitate the transfer of necessary documentation for the proper repair of my brakes.Unfortunately, to date, I have not received the promised email from ***** nor have I received any communication regarding the next steps to address the brake problem. The lack of responsiveness from both Toyota of Anaheim and **** has left me frustrated, inconvenienced, and concerned about the safety of my vehicle.Every day that passes without a resolution or communication is another missed opportunity for Toyota of Anaheim to fulfill their commitment to address the brake issue as promised on Tuesday, January 30, ****.I am requesting the BBB's assistance in facilitating a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter. Additionally, I seek your intervention to ensure that Toyota of Anaheim adheres to their commitment to rectify the brake issue promptly and efficiently.I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter, and I trust that the BBB will help resolve this issue and prevent further inconvenience.Initial Complaint

I paid cash for this 2012 Toyota RAV4 on Nov 21th, and received it on Nov 23th. I only drove occasionally while I noticed there is a rattle noise on both during driving and idle. I brought back to the dealer and met **** there, he did hear the sound and said its the dash, so technicians got the idea and said it is not the engine problem and let me drive back. This problem was not solved and the sound gets even more obvious and consistent now. Two days later, on Friday Dec.1st, my car suddenly had on check engine and Auto LSD blinking all the time. Attention the Auto LSD is not merely on but consistently blinking together with the engine check light on. The second time I took huge risk of driving this car back to the dealer. They pulled the code saying misfire. And then they just cleaned the code, drove for a while without coming back then gave back to me, with no specific explanation on what caused misfire, leaving the serious engine problem unsolved. Even though they mentioned they had some sort of inspection, it is very reckless and irresponsible to treat engine and serious light blinking problem like that. I suppose the rattle noise coming from front is probably due to the engine as well, even they denied it in front of facts. I reported this issue to Toyota, asking for either refund or replacement with the same bulk of price. **************** manager within this dealership coordinated with the sales manager, but failed to find a satisfied solution. They refused my refund request by technical and administrative barriers to finalize this as an engine problem. The only option they have for me is to allow me replace a car but with the price they offered much beyond my budget. Now even the customer relation manager stop giving me more response.I think they may intend to put off any effective action so that they can push out this issue after 30-day limited warranty covered by Lemon Law. I had videos on rattle noise and lights and blinking recorded if needed. HELP plsInitial Complaint
