    This company has had my bank account garnished and I am the primary account holder. They garnished it for a person that I do not even share an account with, but they are listed as a beneficiary. It has been a headache to get this resolved and unfair to me as I take pride in my credit and financial obligatory. I want them to remove this associated with me and reverse it from my bank. Again, I am not the party they were looking to garnish and I want my account back to what is was with no garnishment.

    This company are debt collectors that have bought expired credit card debt from 2007 and they are trying to garnish my bank account. The credit card was from a bank called ********* which went bankrupt and no longer exists. The debt was paid off back in 2013 via money orders. Somehow River Heights Capital LLC bought the debt and wiped out my bank account on 9/11/2023. Ten years later!!! I did appear in court for this matter and the judge disposed the case and my money was given back. However, on 5/9/24 River Heights Capital LLC garnished my bank account again. I need this matter to be taken care of please. I do not owe this company.

    River Heights Capital is an RMAi-Certified Debt Buyer that specializes solely in the purchase of judgments. We hired Roosen, Varchetti, and *******, a law firm licensed to practice law in the State of *******. This law firm engages in the practice of law with its primary focus on representing creditors.

    The judgment was entered by a prior law firm on March 28, 2013. Subsequently, Roosen, Varchetti, and ******* sent out a validation notice and thereafter a bank garnishment. This bank garnishment was contested which led to a Traverse Hearing. On May 28, 2024 the judge ruled in favor of River Heights and denied the defendant's traverse hearing.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I was never served. I stated that in court. The judge wouldnt allow anyone in the courtroom to speak. He sided with the lawyers. I promise under oath that I was never ever served anything. The law firm does not even have my correct address which I made them aware of. They still never updated the address. Furthermore, the debt was settled back in 2013. These debt collectors sold my old debt to some crooked law firm and 10 years later garnished my bank.

    On May 28, 2024 the judge ruled in favor of River Heights and denied the defendant's traverse hearing. As the judge has already ruled on this case and issued a court order, River Heights will move forward as directed by court order.

    If the consumer still feels that this case was settled, please provide documentation as River Heights does not show this case as settled prior to purchase and throughout the course of ownership.

    I paid the debt by making monthly payments. I was told by the judge to check the records office for proof and when I went they said that it was outdated so they no longer had it on file.
